When were they back on shelves? hasbro's just getting rid of the leftover ones.... I doubt someone will find something as rare as mirgae, the only ones back on shelves are skids, sunstreaker, the jeep's and ricochet.

Oh...I thought they were re-releasing the entire line. Sorry

You never know. Hasbro didn't exactly release Mirage widely.

It wouldn't surprise me if there were a few of each mould left in storage.

Just keep your eyes peeled matey. Who knows what you may find!

My advice is that ebay now will be cheaper than ebay later. Best to get it now and be happy rather than pay even more later.

The opposite happened with blue Tracks, though. It was hard to find, and the secondary market prices were 2 to 3 times MSRP. Then they released blue Tracks again and the prices leveveled out. However, that was when the Alt line was still going strong and right now the Alt line is dead. The longer you wait, the more you will pay.

If you ever see them, buy them without second thought. You'll regret it forever if you don't.

I've seen alt Mirage clear Mirage go as a set for £100.

A nice set, but not worth it.

I don't see why we should have to pay more than retail for it. I blame Hasbro, because they're just plain lazy.

That's the Japanese version. It's always going to be more expensive. (Quite a bit more, in fact.)

BBTS is expecting a shipment of Mirage, they've already got it on preorder. Apparently one of their suppliers found some tri-lingual foreign Mirages.

http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/prod ... ode=retail $69.99

It is my understanding that alternators came out in waves ... just like the movie line does.

The typical alts that are showing up in WM today are from that final wave. Also, the WM exclusive alts Rumble and Ravage are spotted here and there.

-Ricochet
-Rollbar
-Skids
-Sunstreaker

Those are what you can find in stores, but the movie drought is pretty much over ... so I wouldn't expect to see any restocking until there is another drought.

If the last release of alternators exhausted the stock in warehouses, then it's off to ebay for those who want them.

I'm sure there are still some out there, but I haven't seen any alts in about a month.

Mirage would never make it past a scalper, and that's if he was even put out on the shelves.

In my region, I have not seen any Alternators in stores. Just as AlienQuikSilver, the line came in waves over a 3 year period.
