Can I please get some info on this megatron?

-What's up with the packaging?
-This megatron is the same as the megatron/prime dvd version right?
-Is the price justified?
-Why did Hasbro make so few of them?
-Was it released in the US, if so when?
-Would this then be hands down the hardest classic to find?

Thanks in advance

It's the same Megs that comes in the ultimate battle two pack with deluxe Prime. He was only packaged for individual sale overseas, don't recall which county. Price seems a little steep, if you ask me. I still see the set at retail. I bought it when it was one clearance for 10.00.

Europe as far as I know. The 2-pack Optimus Prime was released the same way. The weird thing is that the Ultimate Battle pack was also released there, so the toy section used to be flooded with them (even now they still appear on the shelves). Strange people, those marketers...

The price is not justified, he may be better then that stupid Prime, but just go and get the two pack.

No way is he worth 144 bucks.

I mean he a nice figure but his gimmick is lame and his gun arm falls off.

He's a deluxe so he's quite small.
And the 2 pack was 19.99 if I remember correctly.

not 144. 10 , maybe 15. no more

I don't think he's that rare, maybe the packaging is rare, but the figure isn't.
