Jealous! I want to buy him! Ebay has none I can afford, I dont want mint in box, just that is works, and has all it's parts and no serious damage.

I think that color scheme looks better on him than G1 Blaster, now that I ponder.

Dude, that is sweet!
BTW, what does that "Takara Radio" microcassette play? Transformers OST?
And where are the controls for the volume and radio tuning? I can make out a functional set of buttons for the cassette player, though.

You may not believe this, but Microchange Radi-Casse Robo, on which Blaster was based,
was a real working radio! The actual "radio" component is in the cassette. It's basically what the OP is showing off, only without the Autobot symbol.

Man, that's all kinds of awesome. Still curious as to how you tune into stations and control volume, though.
I wonder if the cassette bots can fit into the chest cavity?

Skywarped_128.....The radio only plays static unfornutely.

It is only set for Japan frequencies. And no the chest front cassette door only holds the cassette that came with it. It is what activates the radio.

That's a real bummer, not being able to tune in to radio stations AND not being able to fit cassette bots inside. But still, it is an awesome toy.

That's magical. Wish the TFs made today had quirks and stuff like that!

Me too! I wish Has/Tak would just re-issue some of this stuff. OK so we got 'Device Label' but its not quite the same.

I agree! Wish some of this stuff would be reissued. The device label items that I have are cool too! I have the Tryicon Mouse and the Ravage jumpdrive.

While this kind of stuff is cool, I'm actually glad they don't do more of it these days. If you're looking for the electronic component it serves as, the toy version is pretty much junk. And if you're interested more in the toy itself, well now it's way more expensive because it serves as a crappy electronic. No thanks...it's a cool gimmick, just not a worthwhile one.
*damn iPhone...
