Congrats on the win! That looks like a great fig, can't wait to get one myself. Stockade, Landmine, and Dropkick all have similar looks- i.e., awesome. Can't put my finger on it, but their robot-mode styling is just excellent.
Post some pics when you get him please!

Wow! Congrats! And not too expensive too. Although the shipping cost is a killer.

How did this Stockade got out? I thought they won't be released till early next year.
I want one too!

His stance is somewhat like Optimus Primal. He even got the extended arm to act as front legs.
Nice!

uhm... have you ever heard of test shots and prototypes? Well it seems that alot of them get taken from the factories by workers, and then they get put up on ebay.
It happens alot... infact thats how we see alot of the toys and whatnot waaaay before the actual thing comes out.
Go ahead. Test it yourself. go into the transformers category on ebay, and then type in prototype or test shot. Usually you will see a bunch.

Does "test shot" mean it's not a perfected production toy yet?

Was this just a buy to say "Hey, I got one first!" or is the prototype more desirable for some reason?
One Stockade prototype on ebay: $15
Shipping for said prototype: $20
OR
Waiting 2 months until mass release: $10
Getting a toy AND feeding my family: Priceless.

The whole prototype thing. That's worth something to me, and I'm willing to guess that it's worth something to Grim Squeaker as well.
Nobodies family ever died from eating Ramen noodles for a few days. It may have shortened their lives a little, but ...

That's IF he can find Stockade in the shops when it gets released. Buying the thing on ebay after the official release isn't likely to be any cheaper. Us folks this side of the Atlantic can't always rely on finding stuff in the shops.
Off topic: Stockade has a truck alt mode, and his robot mode looks a bit like a gorilla. Is Hasbro trying to settle the "trukk/munky" debate by making a figure that is both?

I think that they're just giving Jazz a distant relative, so that he can be mourned after his movie death.
... that was wrong.

Of course not! They'd sell WAY less figures that way.
Give it two years, they'll be selling us the "Trukk not Munky" double-figure gift set or some nonsense

I don't quite get the craze for prototype bit. The item can most likely be not perfect yet. The best scenario is it's as good as the production item.
So what's really in the prototype that get people rushing to grab one?

It means hasbro tried a mold to see If it would work made a figure to see how well it came out, workers take these, And You cant never tell if a test shot is perfected.
I dont know If I am wrong.

The toy + the shipping ads up to $30 which is translated to €20.57656!
A Deluxe in Germany costs from €16-18 the same goes for Ireland, in the UK it costs 10 pounds, which is $20.
Grimsquiker lives in Ireland, so that price isn't that bad, + he has it before anyone els.

Well, that's the best reasoning I've heard on the subject (although the Ramen noodle defense is a close second). Still, I don't get the "+ he has it before anyone else" argument. **Sweet! Now I can talk to no one about what they think of this!
**Overdramatization

Well it's just a little extra, worth the €3.
It can be a cool fealing to have something before the US, especially if you usually have to wait 1-2 months longer to get it.
It's really unfair, not only do we have to wait longer but have to pay more for it, so that kinda makes up, I would say.

If it makes him happy, I say well done to him.
If in six months he turns around and says, "What was I thinking?" then we can laugh at him.
Maybe it'll inspire him to do more ripper drawings for us.
