Frenzy has a very unique transformation that should get a "wow" and "cool" from you once you've completed it. Considering there are no other transformable Frenzies in the movie line, I highly recommend it.
The repaints coming up also look very good, though I saw the Ironhide mould today and was not impressed.

Seconded. It sucks that its the only Frenzy that transforms but it'd probably be next to impossible to make one like the movie anyway.
Blackout and Brawl aren't too shabby either for FAB's. But I own 09 BB so there you go.

I like beastformers.. so in that case.. the closest one and the one that doesn't look stupid.. is definitely Starscream.. he's actually got hands!!!

I only picked up 3 of these and out of them Prime is the best. He's small, but great articulation. Ratchet would be next, then Brawl, then I lost intrest in these pretty much completely.
I know they're for the younger kids, but they still could have put alittle more effort into them.

Thirded. Although I'm having trouble deciding if I want an accurate Frenzy (Robot Replica) or a transforming one (FAB).

If I had to get a FAB... Frenzy hands down.

i have blackout, brawl, and starscream...which is the order i would rank them as well. blackout has a nice little alt mode that's a lot of fun. brawl is cool as well and has tons of play value though the tank turret falls off if you look at it wrong.

The FAB's are an under-rated line.
Brawl is better than Deluxe Brawl, Frenzy is unique and well worth a purchase, while Megatron's cost per suckiness for the figure cannot be beaten.
Ratchet, and the new repaints are all good as well.

agreed. they are a lot of fun. they don't have the sculpts for the most part but they are pretty solid toys. i saw ironhide the other day and am kicking myself since i passed on him.

A boxed-set of all of them
Seriously, they are quickly getting better than the mainline figures.
Prime has nice articulation and a decent paint job in robot mode.
Megatron actually hides the wings in robot mode like the movie model does and also hides the head in alt mode(for once)
Ratchet has nice weapons.
Ironhide has great molded detail.(that's actually visible)
Starscream has a more traditional seeker look and has an interesting transformation and nifty weapons.
Bumblebee just rocks.
Blackout has a helicopter blades weapon that he can actually hold.
Barricade has the awesome weapon he had in the movie.
Brawl has lots of weapons, is bulky and doesn't look as wimpy as the other versions.
Frenzy just rocks.
Jazz... well at least it has a firing missile and a posable waist(as do most FABs)
And if there are any I've forgotten, they're probably great too. And FABS are cheap!(even on eBay!)

Allot of the movie guys don't intrest me, but I picked up Barracade because I wanted two Barracades without actually buying two of the same toys.
Gotta admit, I'm a bit dissappointed with him.

Frenzy is the only one I've considered picking up. It seems to be a shelf warmer here so I've got the chance to if/when I decide.

I'd have to go with Ironhide. Because, it's the only Ironhide I can find. Then Frenzy, because of the reasons already mentioned. Then Starscream, because he doesn't have missile-launchers for hands.

I have all of the ones released so far, and aside from the lack of elbows, I rather like them.

Thats just not true!
The one that comes with Baricade transforms into a box... A silver box

It looks more like Barricade's lunch box to me >.>

I already bought two -- Blackout and Brawl -- and will probably be getting more, but I have to give Brawl major props. And contrary to Battlewagon's post, my Brawl's turret stays on just fine! Well, it does have a tendency to pop off when I swivel it, but it stays put if I put it on and leave it facing forward. No problems whatsoever in robot mode.

I don't mind the FABs really. My son has Frenzy, Blackout, and Prime. I tried to get him megatron yesterday, but he wanted the Leader version. We settled on the Voyager.
But the ones I have tried are neat enough to buy. I would have to say Starscream given the nature of my preferences.

I have Brawl, Prime and Screamer.
Screamer is a lot of fun, but the feet sticking out bother me. I put him in gerwalk (aka chicken) mode as often as not.
The Prime doesn't really appeal to me as a Prime, but he is a cool little bot.
The Brawl is suppa sweet! He is fun to transform and I agree with several other posts that say he is better than the deluxe Brawl. He is at least on par with him for different reasons. Both have good and bad points.
Unlike a lot of folks I dislike the FAB frenzy a lot. I grabbed the RR version instead. For my movie display I'm using the Barricade include, though, since he is the most in scale with the others.
From some of the info on this thread I think I may get the Megs if I see him.
Overall I really like the FAB line!
