MP SS hunters. Have faith!

I just got mine today.
When I got off work tonight, I got this intense Swedish Fish craving and decided I had to go to Wal-Mart. It's an addiction I developed in addition to my new TF Shopping habits - if there were no new TFs in stock, I'd buy Swedish Fish. Why? I don't need to explain myself to you. But listen, I just had this feeling, I HAD to go check out the toy aisle.
What I saw was the biggest toy restock I have ever seen. It was 2 am, and they still had seven or eight people unloading toys. I asked for help finding Screamer and was taken to the manager. After chatting her up and using my charm, she said I could browse through the overstock. Sweet.
Through a tiny crack at the bottom of a pile, I could see the letters "M-A-S." And I said outloud, "That has to be it!" at which point, three Wal-Mart employees came to my rescue, opened the box, and pulled out a fresh-from-case MP Starscream. It was beautiful.
I felt like a Chihuahua, my body was shaking with anticipation. And, I ran out of there so fast I completely forgot about my Swedish Fish! D'oh!
But MY POINT - after being told at this store that MP Starscream was ALL GONE... I found one.
Have faith.

Well ... at least you didn't develop an addiction to drinking hand sanitizer, like a lot of the kids are doing these days. Maybe they will come out with a swedish fish flavor? I doubt it ... that may be somewhat illegal ...
I believe there are enough MP/SS's out there for everybody. I can't go into a WM without seeing 5 of him.

Words to live by, hopefully MP Screamer wont turn into another concept BB thing. Patience is a virtue, no need to sweat it, Hasbro WANTS you to buy one, so they will be around in numbers eventually.

Where are you located that you picked one up? Haven't seen any in this part of the country yet.

After weeks of searching I finally found one in the Cleveland area (Strongsville). They had only one out on the shelves and it was sandwiched on the bottom shelf - sideways no less - between leader class movie figures and "Ultimate Battle" Prime vs Megs sets.
There was no tag on the shelf to indicate price, so it was like the staff didn't know what to do with 'Screamer, so they just stuck him in with the other expensive figures (Ult BB and DVD Prime are further down on the same shelf).
Strange, but at least I got one!

IIH, great post, congrats on the find. But WTH are Swedish Fish? Actual fish?
MP SS has been sighted in the Chicago burbs near where I live, but not by me. The day will come, I know, but jeez... Worst part is, once I do find him, I'll have to wait for Christmas to actually open him up. Wife's rule, and since she hasn't kicked me and my ever-growing TF collection out yet, I feel obliged to obey.

Ill pick him up if I see him. Concept Bumblebee made me weary and with Christmas coming up he might be scalped. If so ill wait until after Christmas or maybe not get him at all. I wont buy from a scalper and I cant door warm like they do ( I have a job, life etc) so if it is going to be another Bumblebee fiasco, ill pass.

He's ENTERED NEW ENGLAND!!!
Don't forget to look up people.
Tried looking around the shelves and nothing there, they were stacked on the restocking shelves way above.
Check your superstore first if there is one, the others in the area hadn't stocked him yet!
Got one!!!

i would suggest calling first. that's how i scored mine. i called the one i would have LEAST expected, and they said they had 18 in stock. i waited till the morning, and they were down to 11! so far, NONE of the other WMs have him!
try calling friday morning, because they get trucks in thursday night.

No need! As of 3:15 today, I found one. Well, actually two. Drove @ 25 minutes to get him, but the hunt is over. I've actually never called about a Transformer...that just ruins the hunt for me. Granted, it's the smarter, more gas-efficient way to go...

Yes, listen to the wife always a good rule of thumb.
And Swedish Fish are amazing. Avoid them if you don't like being addicted to good junk food.

I'm trying to have faith, but it is hard. The only Walmart I can get to is the one that is right by me. If they don't get him, then I can't get him.
Having only one Walmart to go to whose Toy Manager doesn't care about either the customer or the stock the store carries fills me full of dread. I don't want to buy him off of eBay, but I may have to.
Do you know if Hasbro just sends stock to the Walmarts? Or does the Toy Manager actually have to order the individual toys they recieve?

I live in a relatively small town, no one ever buys TFs here. And about a week ago they stocked only 5 mp's here. In a week they were all gone and I snatched one up.
Also they've restocked again after they all sold out and no more starscreams have been restocked, sad.
