I am not sure but is there a variant to the hardtop figure? I think it was purple, maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me.

Also, on the back of some of them, they say you can combine the weapons together. Is really true? Cause the weapons don't look like they can...

he was originally a scout figure from Energon I believe, so the figure has been released in different colors. BUT, there shouldnt be a variant in the movie packaging.

Also, yes, the weapons that the scouts Skyblast/Air Raid and Arcee/Elita-1 can connect.

I should go back and check for that different hardtop to be sure...

Thanks. Only those two can combine weapons? I thought signal flare can too...must have read it wrong.

Movie Scout Hardtop is a repaint, not from the Energon line but from the Cybertron Line, and he was bluish/green and had a purple gun (which cannot combine with the other weapons):



And yes Figures from the Energon line had weapons with pegs and holes that could combine in weird ways. Strongarm's Axe weapon can combine with Air Raid's in some fashion.

If the weapons are energon weapons you can connect many at a time.

The only figures that have parts that combine are repaints from the Energon toyline. They are:
Arcee
Elita One
Skyblast
Airraid
Strongarm
Signal Flare

The others
Armorhide
Hardtop
Clocker
Stormsurge (not available yet)
don't because they are from Cybertron and come with a key to activate features.

But that's the purple one I saw, strangely though it was in a movie scout packaging with different bio than the S7 hardtop.

The reason Knockoff Hardtop has a modified gun is because in the Knockoff line he come from he's a combiner and the gun is the foot of the gestalt!

That thing is insane!
