You bet. In the case of Cybertron Jetfire to Sky Shadow, there was a minor remold, the

on his chest was replaced with

. Same goes for any faction-changed repaint with a sculpted symbol.

No, the cockpit can still be opened for Crumplezone to fit in

Yep. It just doesn't look as nice as the Cyclonus powerlink. Buzzsaws' cockpit isn't as sleek looking when it's popped up like that.

The 3rd series of Mini-Bots were all remolds, except for Wheelie:
Cliffjumper -> Hubcap
Huffer -> Pipes (with body front-to-back)
Gears -> Swerve
Brawn -> Outback
Windcharger -> Tailgate

Don't forget Roadblock/Inferno from Energon. Best retool of a figure I've ever seen.

Ohh my mistake.
I have Cyclonus and he has that big hole for the minicon's tank gun turret to slide into. Buzzsaw has a pair of guns in place of the hole how exactly does it connect?

Nope, totally different molds. Speaking of Autobot Cars:
Sideswipe <-> Red Alert
Bluestreak <-> Prowl <-> Smokescreen (yes, he's a remold too)
Ratchet <-> Ironhide
Trailbreaker <-> Hoist
Grapple <-> Inferno
In the Diaclone line, both Skids and Wheeljack had remolds as well.

He doesn't. Landquake is a straight repaint. The funny thing is in the show it was an upgrade, while the toy's bio says he's Landmine's brother.

Wasn't Energon Demolisher (the body he was at the first of the series) a repaint/remold of Armada Demolishor? I never got the Energon Demolishor so I can't be sure, but at least on the show it looks like he has an energon thing on the left arm instead of the mini-con thing. Am I right?

Armada Hoist was remolded into Longrack, with a new head and resculpted gimmick activator (Cyberkey activated instead of Mini-Con insertion)
Armada Rhinox is a slight remold, he's got Mini-con ports added to his animal-hips and his Maximal symbol is replaced by a Autobot insignia.
Three of the six Universe Railbots (Rail Racer Micro-Masters) were remolded from their G2 Sixtrain counterparts. Their transformations remain the same, but the general shape of both their train and robot modes were drastically altered.
Alternators/Binaltech Hound was remolded into Swindle. New head, a new front bumber and huge wheels.
The Classics Starscream mold was remolded into the Ramjet mold, with a new head, wings and weapons. The transformation was slightly altered to accomodate the newly molded pieces.
The Star Saber Mini-Con team, which was sculpted after real-life aircrafts, was remoldes to have new futuristic alt modes.
Movie Jazz was remolded with battle damage and a new gun for his Final Battle release.
Movie Thundercracker gets a new head along with the Starscream body. Evac is a remold of Blackout, new head and hands and a handheld gun/lifeboat instead of mini Scorponok.
