cause in the classics devestator thing, longarms one of the , but in armada, he is red alerts minicon, im so confused!!!!!!!!!!! :sad: :???: :sad: :???:

they needed a name to match, since for some reason they couldnt use the name Hook anymore

yeah Hasbro has to use the names regularly or they will loose the copyrights to that name.

Yeah, it's kinda like how Armada Demolisher is IroHide in Japan.

Outside of the staple bots, names get tossed around all the time.

Trademarks, not copyright, trademarks. *has hammer ready*

Anyway, yes, names are reused all the time between non-connecting lines. Mini-Cons and other small figures are insignificant enough for their names to be reused within connecting lines however.
