I jsut got him, and I think he isnt hard to transform at all. That doesnt mean he isnt FUN to transform. But I would give it a 2-3 out of 5 in difficulty to transform. What do yall think?

Not hard. Find it easier than a BT, given all the steps are pretty straightforward. It has a bunch of steps, but none are very difficult or tricky.

The arms are the most trickiest of him, but even that isn't that bad.

i personally didnt find him especially hard... but a couple of steps in the instructions i found a little vague.. maybe thats just me though.. more often than not, i tend to figure out transformation processes just be looking at pictures of the two modes...

Not hard at all.
Although, like the above poster said, there were times when first transforming him i found myself going "Okay, move this flap out... Ok, what flap.... the hell?!?!? THERE IS NO F***ING FLAP!!!"

lol... well said!... i think it was the panels that make the sides of the engine housing/backpack fins that confused me first time round... if i remember correctly, the instructions just showed them to be swung round, but either skipped or didnt show very well, that the waist should be dropped/swung out of the way first...
after a couple of back and forth vehicle to robot transformations i got my head round it though

...megatrons legs (robot to vehicle) on the other hand..

Leader Prime is much easier to transform than Car Robots Speedbreaker/RID Side Burn.

the only RiD/Car Robots figure ive got is Super Mach Alert (Prowl in blue and white colours).. he wasnt so bad... always wanted side burn though

He was actually the easiest to transform among the Autobot Brothers of the series. Speedbreaker, on the other hand, is a PITA to transform.

At first. But, not now.

Just a few steps that require precision and time. Movie Prime IS up there with the rest for time consuming transformations IMHO. But as for difficulty, Energon Slugslinger still bites4me.
Movie Prime rocks.

I think his pelvis can be tricky. If it isn't rotated the right way ... that mofo isn't going back to truck mode!
Somebody who doesn't know the toy would get hung up on that 1st time.
Also, try rotating that pelvis without pinching your finger somewhere!
He's a great figure. Fun transformation that isn't too difficult. LOVE IT!

I was able to do him without instructions.
He didnt piss me off, Megatron did, but Megatron is easy now.
He does take up alot of time to transform.
He also has alot of steps.
But is he hard? no.
on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give him a 6.

He's not too difficult to transform. Just a bit tricky at first lining up the arms/shoulders. But that's only because the instructions are too vague.
His design though, is suprisingly complicated. Makes up a real good toy.
