Masterpiece Starscream is awesome.

I'm not a Starscream fan by any means. In fact, I always enjoyed it when Megs put him in his place but this? Oh baby. My Wal-Mart had about 15 on the shelf for $48.99 each. This thing is just bad ass. To all you Screamer fanboys (and mostly fangirls who love his 'seeker feet') I hope you're able to get it. The only way they could top this is if they made a life-size one that automatically transforms and has Latta's voice.

The American one comes with the flight base and all the missiles right?

Aye. Also, some sort of clamp thing that I didn't find any use for. I think it's for Megs in his alt. mode that comes with 20th Anni. Prime.

Yep, it plugs in under SS's nosecone to mount Megs on him in jet mode. (It's in the instructions.)
How do I know this? Cause I just got mine today!!! He quite simply rocks! I can see a few things here and there that need a bit of tweaking though. Right off the bat, the missile pods in his chest need painting, and I have to get some of that "dirt" off of him. The screamer is way to egotistical to ever let himself get that grody.
Thoughts of a Coronation outfit flood my mind...

Good news! 91% isopropyl alcohol on a Q-Tip (that's a cotton swab to you Brits) takes that dirt paint off like a dream. Steer clear of the paint you want to keep (like his wing symbols) but it takes a little pressure to get the paint up so a light touch should help you get it right.
He looks SOOO much better without that dirt streak down his back!

How are the joints?

Anyone else have problen with the knees? The knee is made up of two racheting joints. On mine the upper joint on the left leg has no racheting, so it's just kind of loose. I bought two, now I'm debating over whether to open the other to see if it has a better joint and returning the other. Just wondered if anyone else had encountered this.

No knee problems, but he is hard as hell to get balanced. Kind of makes me angry.

I finally just gave up. I was able to get him to stand up, but I didn't look good. I just position him on the stand as if in flight, looks a lot better and more natural. Plus it more or less solves the knee problem I'm having.

100% agreement. Playing with him right now. And he's half the price of Takara's version. I think I'm going to sell my MP Skywarp, one MP seeker mold is enough for me.

I haven't had those problems with mine beyond the balancing issue. My problem stems from what the nosecone connects to in robot mode. The screw came out when I first transformed him and I haven't gotten it screwed back down. Other then that he's pretty awesome.

Has anyone seen this Starscream in Saint Louis Missouri, I've been looking for this guy since the end of October, I'm really thinking they are not releasing him in stores around here until Black Friday...
All over forums I'm hearing of ppl getting him in California or somewhere around the West coast, I'm just thinking maybe the shipments haven't hit the Midwest just yet?!

Honestly, I think the very first reported US sighting was in Missouri? That's what I recall?

It must be my luck then or these scalpers then... I have three Wal-Marts within Bermuda Traingle distance from my house and everytime I make the same formation search with no luck! Wow one of these days, I keep telling myself.
I did find a Leader Class Prime tonight though

Keep looking brother, he'll show up.
I also have a 3 walmart trifecta, and only one of them got him, and they got him in droves.
But I knew from the boards that other wally's in my area (but outside my normal range) had him.
A third, outside my normal range got only a few but sold out.
He's out there, but you may want to try (or call) a few stores outside your normal 3.
Happy hunting!!!

Thanks man, I'll try doing that. Going with my gf to southern Missouri this weekend for Thanksgiving maybe that will mix up a few things while visiting small town Wal-Marts around that area, I'll post back to this topic with my findings... Hopefully since I won't be around the city Wal-Marts maybe there's not as many scalpers around farm areas?!

I finally opened mine all the way tonight to transform and I almost cried. Its so beautiful. It almost tops my MP Prime, definitely ties it. I can't say enough about the detail, if you like jets alone, you'd love it, but its a robot too, so you get the best of both worlds. The airbrake behind the canopy was a nice surprise & it looks real. The flaps, landing gear, and opening nosecone are cool and the plates open above the engines for a closer look. I didn't notice it till late but the painted wingtip lights are &$%&#$g awesome. I couldn't stop playing and zooming the plane around like I was 10 years old again. Haven't felt that type of joy in long, long time. Definitely #1 toy of the year for me. Tomorrow I'm going to try the display stands, pilot, and clip megatron underneath! Can't wait to get my MP megs next mo. or Jan.

Haha, same thing happened to me! All 3 Walmarts I've been checking had no trace of MP-SS. Then I read your post and thought I'd check one more Walmart that I hadn't checked yet.
Sure enough there was one all by itself on the shelf. Then I looked up and there was another one barely noticable on the very very top shelf. You should have seen me climbing up to get it while nobody was watching!
To be honest, with all the time and money I spent on gas, I could have been better off buying it off Ebay for $70-$75.
I think some Walmarts probably will never carry it as this one actually had dedicated shelf space with the tag marked "Starscream" for it. All the rest didn't have any space set aside.

Be sure to check the aisle displays as well.
I almost missed them in my one store. They were in a center display facing paints and sporting goods, but then there were over a dozen. My nearest store finally got him too, and in droves!
Does anyone know will he be on sale on Friday? If so I may pick up an extra or 2
