I placed an order with them on the 15th of Feb. I never heard anything back and they havent answered my emails. Has anybody ever had a bad experience with them?

I don't know how often Spencer reads his emails, but it took me 2 tries to get a hold of him. It might actually be easier to get a hold of him through the messageboards there. It takes a couple of days to get on his messageboard.

I ordered a happywell robot from them, the aerobot (which looks pretty cool) and they sent me some gigantic junky non-posable astrotrain clone instead. I had to email a couple of times before I got a reply asking which one they sent me. I replied, but never got an answer back. Since it was only a couple of bucks and the customer service didn't seem eager to help, I finally just gave the thing to my neighbor's kid. I still want the aerobot, but I'm not inclined to pay them again for something I already bought.
(The beginning of this year was awful, that happened (minor), I sent out an alternator trade on tfieds and the guy stole it without sending one back, and some ebay thief took $40 for an old Perceptor and just stole the money. So - I probably am judging threeandup harshly because I was left wondering why nobody was being honest anymore)

I've never used agesthreeandup.com either. But they sound as bad as xybertoys.
Its been over 2 weeks now, almost 3 since I've placed my order and the money's left my account. Still no sign of anything

I've never ordered from them, but I've never heard anything bad about them either. I'm sorry you guys are going through this with them.
I'm honestly shocked, and I hope you get your stuff or at least your money back.
One rule of thumb..."If it looks too good to be true, it probably is." Sounds like this is one of those cases. =\

I placed an order about a week and a half ago. Money hasn't come out of my credit card yet. Hopefully I wont have any problems. I did e-mail Spencer a couple times and he replied once, though it took a few days.

BTW...just in case anyone didn't know this...A3U/Spencer is located in Canada. It will take time for the payment to get there (depending on method), and to convert, and for him to ship it, etc.
If you're still worried, then by all means report him. No one should lose their money.

Was your order for a preorder?

Yea, it was a preorder for one of the unconfirmed Masterpiece Megatrons he thought he was able to get a hold of.

If you read the front page, he's not going to be withdrawing the funds until he can confirm he's getting the MP megatrons. He's already gotten a certain amount of confirmed preorders for MP Megatron which he's already withdrawn the money. They feel it would be unfair to withdraw the money and then turn around and have to refund it because they couldn't get the rest of the MP Megatrons that they want to get.

The only thing I ever bought from them was some longer smokestacks for the Hasbro 20th Optimus Prime re-issue. Shipping didn't take all that long in my experience.

I don't normally respond to threads like this because I don't always have a lot of time and I don't usually use this board but as I have attempted to contact SauronTD in the past and it seems he just did not get me emails, I figure this is the best bet.
SauronTD, you emailed me at 10:45 AM on March 8th with your inquiry into your order. At 6:43 PM on March 8th I hit the reply button with this:
Some of the Ratbat sets we had received were damaged in shipping from China. We are currently awaiting new samples of this figure which we were hoping to receive this week but unfortunately did not come. They should be in next week sometime and we will be shipping out as soon as they arrive. Very sorry for the delay.
Then March 10th you started this thread. So I assume you either did not read your own email or it just did not get to you.
Bavolis, I do recall your situation and the last email I sent you was on the 15th of Feb, trying to get an idea of which item you got sent. As a matter of fact the 15th's email was:
Just to check in with you on this, what is the Galaxy Defender that you did receive? The aerobot is part of the Galaxy Defender line of figures.
As I delete emails after I send out an email, i await a responce from the other party. I don't believe I ever did receive a response from you as your last email to me was on the 14th, your inital email stating you received the wrong item.
Now, in defence of all of this, I receintly did switech from Microsoft Outlook version 6 to MS Office 2007 not too long ago and I did not know it but for almost a week none of my emails were going out as the setting on the new system were wrong.
All of that aside, Sauron, the cassettes should be arriving this week and will be shipped as soon as they arrive and Bavolis, since I now have an answer to my email, I will send out the Aerobot in the next batch of items going out.
Hope that helps explain a few things.
Spencer.

Sounds like a simple miscommunication. I think your eBay rating should speak for itself.

This was the response I sent back (showing 8pm on the 15th):
"It's the big space shuttle one - it says "Galaxy Defender - The Robot That Changes." His price tag says 6.99. He doesn't seem to have any other name on the box. "
I'm guessing somehow the message got lost in transit somewhere. Thanks for making things right, that's fantastic customer service! Thanks!

Yep, I read it and understood why he was doing it. Hopefully my card will be charged though so I can get MP-05 unaltered.

I hope for your sake that he does get more. Otherwise you might have to go through Ebay to get one without a cap.

I wanted to update this thread and let everybody know I recieved mine today but I was a little upset. The toys themselves are great but the card had been opened and ratbat was transformed and his ears were missing. Luckely I found the ears in the bottom of the box. I want to think this happened during shipping but I dont know. I am very suprised at the quality of the toys, real rub signs and everything.
