The lack of Skywarp.

Many of the figures were undersized. I could have used a Leader Blackout or a Voyager Bonecrusher.

Jazz for me. No hands, and very thick legs.

the biggest let down for me?? Well, there are several.. the lack of realistic and shinny metallic paint applications, instead of always getting the standard Hasbro Grey molded parts.. the lack of larger versions of Blackout, Starscream, adn Bonecrusher.. and the invention of Ultimate Bumblebee, when all they had to do was a nice Voayger version of the Deluxe, with special paint applications.. had they for gone the Ultimate and gave us a really detailed and nicely done voyager Bumblebee with a great articulated and movie accurate design, i would have prefered that to the Ultimate and I would have paid more for that voyager, albeit less then the Ultimate cost, but still..it would have been worth it for a superior quality figure..
Also Voyager Prime needed to not have a Back pack, or atleast have it detachable..
I will say though that looking forward, the Metallic Premium line up and the Trasn-scanning figures are a welcomed fix..

It's a tie between:
1) The fact that most of the Decepticon toys are horribly out of scale with one another.
2) Barricade's clunky arms.
3) Starscream has no hands.

since you've mentioned 2 lensheads, how 'bout their brother : swindle ?
generally, tf movie toys are good. the designs of them are great, but the plastic sometimes looks cheap and the paint are easily faded (e.g: barricade's paintjob).

Properly scaled Blackout, Brawl, and Bonecrusher.

It has to be leader Megatron. Its awful and looks even worse when compared to the goodness of leader Prime.
For the main Decepticon to have such a sucky figure was a big letdown.

The one I had more expectations for and that didn't deliver: Blackout. He's not even as good as some of the deluxes. Dropkick, Concept BB, Barricade, Bonecrusher, and even Jazz all delivered more then Blackout has.
Too small, too flimsy, too overthought with the wacky automorph function, not enough thought into the rotor backpack. Major let down, he doesn't even sit out with the others. He's stuffed in the closet.

Camshaft not getting a real head. I was seriously thrilled about getting a Camshaft movie toy until I saw the lens-head. Obviously there'll have to be some head-swapping at some point.
And yeah, really wanted a Skywarp. Why is it so hard to put together a decent trine of Seekers in any given toyline?!

I dislike a lot of toys from the movie actually. The color and alternate mode of Starscream, Ironhide with his short black stacks and unpainted features, boring Jazz, messed up 74 Bumblebee's alternate mode and the fact that they never made leader class versions of Starscream, Bonecrusher & Blackout.
Another let down is the drones from the video game. I only like Dropkick. The rest are just extra junk to me.

How exactly is BB's alt mode messed up? It's a '76 Camero, just like in the film.

My biggest annoyance was the annoying fact of
DELUXE BRAWLS ARMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHY THE HELL DIDNT THEY FU...

(Breathe in and out)
That was annoying basically.
And Barricade.. They made an absolute Pillok of Frenzy.
AND I LIKED FRENZY IN THE MOVIE!
They could of made him into a gun when with the Barricade figure or something
They were ALL undersized. They should of atleast made Brawl and Bonerusher a Voyager and Make Blackout Leader class.

I am a transformers fan, therefore there is little I don’t like about transformers (except for beast machines and animated) so to me this question is very hard to answer.
It was Swindle who actually got me into the movie line, I wasn’t as horrified by the movie designs as most fans were, but I didn’t think I would buy as many figures as I have, if it weren’t for Swindle, in other words I didn’t like the movie stuff until I saw Swindle, so you can assume I’m a big fan of all the camera head drones.
I guess for me it might just be the lack of interesting repaints and exclusives, yeah the metallic figures are nice but there not new characters, so it might be some of the repaints that turn me off a bit but otherwise I’m fine with it, don’t care about scale though since transformers have never had it in the first place.

Scorponok, Bonecrusher, and horribly underscale figures.

I mean that his car mode does not stay correctly transformed because of the animorph gimmick. At least mine doesn't stay put properly. I assume this was a big problem with many of the 74 Bumblebee's.

I like most of the movie line. But Jazz in just a spindly arm fat leg mess, which reminds me my mom's birthday is tomorrow.
Payload I was fiending for from the prerelease photos we had of him, but the giant arm on his back and lack of QC just has me keep him in alt mode constantly.
Then Scorponok, If you pose him right, he isn't so bad, but still, with alittle effort this figure could have been amazing. I remember I went into remission the first time I saw his bot mode.
DreadWings Bot mode also sucks.
Otherwise, the movie line has been pretty awesome!

Oh yes, that. I am luckily enough to get one of the non-broken ones. Oh, it's automorph, Animorphs were a book & TV series in the late '90s.

I don't like that the movie Starscream is a semi-metallic beige, rather than red and gray, like he usually is. And why the freaky head design? the movie Thundercracker toy (which i intend to get one of.) is blue with red trim, just like he's always been, and he has the G1/classic/armada head design, so why was Starscream done weird?
And i did not even see Thundercracker in the TF movie!

The one I regret buying is Blackout. I got the 2pack, and knew Scorp wasnt special. But Blackout...ugh. Letdown for sure.
