So I was playing with it earlier today and heard a snap. I tried to find where it came from and it came from the knee. I took it apart and found the lower knee joint snapped and had stress marks. Is there a way to get replacement parts or fix it?

I had an ankle break on my MP-4 a while back. The best thing you can do is post on a few forums and look for a junker. If you can't fine one, Wal Mart is getting them back in stock lately, wait for them to go on clearance or you can try to get one pretty cheap on E-Bay, that's what I did.

Well it's the actual part in his lower leg, so part of the piece that slides down. Would superglue fix it? I have the original without the DVD, the one that came out in 2005. So I want it to be the same colors

The ones I've seen at Wal-Mart are still quite expensive as well, better luck on eBay is the way I see it...

But how the heck did the knee snapped? By you moving it back and forth fast with force? I've heard some people say theirs fell off the top shelf resulting in the knee pistons coming apart. I don't mess with my Mp Optimus much. So he's fine until now. But I broke two pegs on Mp Megatron in less of a week when I got him in April. Won't play with him after I fix him. Parts are hard to find even on Ebay. It will take a great while until they surface. I wish the chinese bootleggers come out with some affordable parts soon.

Just acquired Megatron MP05 last week, how did this injury take place if you don't mind me asking?!

I was taking a picture of him for a desktop background and I shook the table an he fell over. Is that enough to break it? and the actual piece that broke is not the pistons but the piece on the back of his leg that you can see and is rounded

Well the second time I transformed Megatron. I broke a small tab on one of it's thigh plates. You can't yank it down by the legs like the original. First you got separate his folded arms connected to his chest carefully. So that peg doesn't break. It unhooks automatically by doing so from below the arms. Which I wish I could of figured it out sooner. On the sixth transformation a front skinny peg above the trigger snapped. Super glued it but it immediately comes off in transformation. Glued it back. Holds up as long as I don't mess with it. The other smaller piece on the thigh couldn't glue it. Almost glued my fingers as a result. It's too small. Now without those two pegs it doesn't hold up in gun mode from below at all. I wouldn't transform him anymore if I were you. What a waste! Lucky I paid a hundred for him ,and not two hundred like some.

Super glue the rounded piece back but watch your fingers ,and watch you don't glue the pistons or the knee joint.

I firmly believe that the Masterpiece is for posing in Bot mode and leave it on the shelf ina sturdy position, or i think we need some sort of stands that will accommodate specifically the Masterpiece toys, that way if there's an Earth Quake or an accident prone friend or visitor, the Bot doesn't jostle and fall over..
that sucks about the little connector pieces...

I agree these mp's aren't meant to be transformed but to be posed on a sturdy shelf. I do that sometimes but shortly after I put em back in the box. So they don't get dust or wear.
