I heard they were going to release a jp version of the us coloured starcream that would not have the dirt paintjob, is this true.
I live in canada, should i get this version instead? or is it not worth it?

TBH I wasn't a big fan of the dirt at first but it really isn't so bad. It does help show a lot of the great sculpting details in the figure that wouldn't show up if the mold was pure white.

I'd get the US version because it's cheaper. Really, it's the same figure ... why pay an arm and a leg for one that's "clean"? Of course if you have the disposable income ...

Is it really an identical mold? I have the MP-06 Skywarp and was wondering if any of the material on MP SS was changed. Do you know?

Just the plastic color used to produce him.
I don't know if he's any actually any sturdier than MP-03, but the plastic
feels sturdier.

No, I meant is MP-06 (or MP-03) different quality than Walmart Starscream? Basically, is the Japanesse different than the American?

Arg! Doc! I can't get this car up to 88 mph in order to time travel into the future to answer this question!

I have both MP-06 and the Wal-Mart MP SS and I don't see any noticable differences between the two as far as quality goes.

I also have all 3 and they are exactly the same except for plastic color and paint.
I, personally felt the plastic on the WM SS *seemed* a little weaker on the red parts. Not enough that I'm afraid of it breaking or anything, but it felt a little less sturdy

Take that with a grain of salt.
There may be some confusion because Japan is getting an import (or release or whatever) of the WM SS and it is rumored to not have the weathering. This is NOT the same as MP-03! It seems from a couple posts from CyberJet#7 that it may be confusing.
To answer the original ? Get the US starscream. If the dirt bugs you it comes off with a simple wash with rubbing alcohol.

They are...
When you kept saying MP-06 instead of Skywarp, I thought you were talking about the impending release of the Japanese anime MP Starscream (aka MP-07.
Skywarp feels more sturdy because it has a layer of clear coat on it. Plain and simple.
