I have a question about what is the difference between the modified and unmodified megatron encore figure. Also, where can i find one for a good or decent price, thanks.

probably just the plastic orange barrel plug that they put in to conform to toy laws. I'm not aware of any actual "mods" for megatron.

Safety catch on the front one is the old and real mold, the
rear one is one of the reissues!

TFsource has them in stock right now, and they're unmodified.

Anybody know if you can un-modify a modified Megatron? Like, can you pull the orange plug out?

If they are anything like the plugs on the Masterpiece Megatron Upgrade Kits they will come out easily. Very soft plastics that you just work until it pops out.

MP megs plug was a pain, had to heat the glue up with a hair dryer for a couple minutes until I could work it out a few MM's at a time.

The encore Megs plug will come out if you blow on it hard enough. (Exaggeration, but it is really easy if you have half a fingernail)
