OK, here's the scoop. I found this item on ebay and missed my chance to bid http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :IT&ih=003

I sent a message asking if they will make more and this is how they responded.

"Thanks again for your support! We can update you that we may put a new cliff on web in coming days. if you are rushing to own one, i can provide you an alternative. In Dec, TFclub in China and HK-TF club will have this set of conversion kit( of course not include the cliff) pre-ordered on web. you may find the news in: http://www.hk-tf.com/discuz/upload/view ... a=page%3D1 (you may need to register an member account first)
Of course you are still very welcome to wait for our deluxe version on ebay (with fine finishing); anyway, we will inform you if another deluxe cliff is sold on e-bay. Thanks so much".

The only classics I never bought was cliffy because he looked like a Bumblebee recolor which I didn't want, but with this good news, I may be able to own him after all ;)^

Wow, that is actually kind of cool. It makes me wish I had a spare CJ to modify.

EDIT: I see it actually comes with CJ too. Very cool!

Well the auction does, but aparently the HK TF site is going to be selling just the conversion kit. I gotta have one or the other, but I tried to visit the site he sent me to and it's all in Japanese so unless there is some other wy to order, I outa luck for the conversion kit.

that cannon is from a gundam rick dom model.... the figre looks cool regardless, especially the remolded head, but the price is too much. hopefully theyll release him with a reasonable price.

Release it, you mean. The kit will be released without the figure. It's the ebay seller you will sell it on ebay with the conversion kit, box art, and repainted/ decowed figure. I thought it was worth it.

It would be nice if you could just buy the replacement head, I'm not that interested in the rest.

:-? Hmmm. Any idea where that pistol comes from? I don't quite like it with Cliffjumper, but I think it'd be perfect for Classics Bumblebee.

Or, for a whopping $10 you can buy this head from Valkfan like I did:

I second that!

I bought the Valk head for CJ. Much cheaper, and IMO a better sculpt.

I left the spoiler wing on CJ and I removed the one on BB to further differentiate.

It's a nice kit, but for me it would be about a $20 item tops.

I like the helmet style better on the volkfan one, but the horns look a little.... odd. Kinda flat in the front. Makes them look like ears.

PM Valkfan if you're interested, I'm almost sure he has an account here. You have to re-use the eyes from the original Cliffjumper on the new head.

Every time I see mine sitting on the shelf I can almost hear him say "I've got Megatron dead center in my view finder!!" LOL

Yeah but don't you have to paint these heads yourself? Even if it's dead simple to do, I'm sure I'd still screw it up. If they come pre-painted, I'd glady buy one.

So is Valkfan a member here, a seller of ebay, or a online store, because I would most definetly pay 10 bucks for one of those.

He's just a forum member. I don't know if he posts here, but I know he's over at tfans. That's where I first ran into his stuff.

The heads do not come pre-painted. Aaaaaand the next words out of my mouth, it is really easy to do.

If you are really not skilled at that he may be willing to paint them for you at an additional charge, I don't know. You'd have to ask him.

I have no doubt that I could do the painting myself, my only concern would be getting a good color match between the reds. A poor color match can really stick out like sore thumb.

Hey, that's a pretty cool kit. I wouldn't buy it though.

You guys better wait for that "accessory" coming in 2008 for Classics Ultra Magnus... you will crap your pants to death.

Tamiya Bright Red TS-49

Tamiya Silver Leaf TS-30

Perfect match. Those are the exact colors Valkfan suggested.
