Every so often I come by and eBay auction that I just simply have to post just for the fun of it and to state:

"What were they thinking?"

Edit. Neevermind. My inexperience as a collector is showing through.

Hmmm... the seller is listed as zero items sold. I wonder why...

Look at that box. I might pay, and that is a big ass might, $1300 for an Omega Supreme if it was not only AFA'ed, but placed in a vacuum sealed time capsle directly from the factory. :P

He's a scammer. Zero feedback...yeah, right. Also, who told him that those were worth that much? A boxed Omega should be around $250-$350, same with Jetfire.

He's got Omega, Jetfire, then a lot with Omega and Jetfire. Too fishy.

Sorry, buddy. You won't be Holiday shopping off of those auctions.

too high of a price on all of his auctions. There is no way I am paying that much money for anything.

I have a theory about such overpriced auctions. I maintain that it's a spouse (wife, let's be real) that has demanded that the collector in the family sell off the collection. The collector then eBays it far overpriced so none of it sells.

"I tried to sell it, but nobody will buy it!"

Possible backfire. The wife does not have to know a single thing about the collection, what the collection is of, or what its worth. But everyone knows a little about trying to sell something. The next phrase out of her mouth will be something along the lines of "Slash the price or no sex for you!" until the next thing you know, the guy gets only $25 for his figures...

Wow that's a lot and to put them up to start with that price zowie.
The seller still has to pay ebay fee's if it does sells so there just cost them self's even more money and for the prices they added thoses at not going to be a cheap bill from ebay and that there 0 feedback which I would never buy from a 0 feedback to start with yikes.

Yeah he pretty much screwed himself over. That is unless it was an account that was taken over by someone and they are simply posting items and the eBay fees will never get paid.

LMAO! Oh, geeeez. That's almost as bad as the guy who listed (and actually sold!) a single cornflake for £1.20. :P
