I thought the leader class looked much different than this design. Is this a protoform?

That is actually better than I expected. At least it has a relatively "plane-like" feel to it. I don't like the coloring in the alt mode...works better for robot mode.

No, I don't think so.

But it doesn't appear to be the kick ass Leader Class version either.

i'm expecting to see a piece of crap since all the other bots are pathetic also but man, this one is just horrible and that's saying something. after seeing all the pathetic bot designs i really can't see them doing any worse.

Sheeesh, I must be the only one who likes this. The hands throw it off a little, but I like the spaceship vibe from it and the ice just... clicks with me.

You know, you would "think" that as the leader of the major alien threat in the movie... they might have... oh... I don't know... put a little more time and effort into his alt mode? I mean, the robot mode already looks like @%#@%$$, but if it had a really really good alt mode to explain why it looks like @%#@%$$, complicated transformation, etc., then at least it could be justified.

What we have, however, is a piece of @%#@%$$ that turns into another piece of @%#@%$$. As the major bad guy in the film, you'd think they'd give him as much "cool" factor as... say... generic Decepticon hellicopter dude?

Far from the worst transformer out there, but the best of the FABs as far as I'm concerned.

I love the look of the Leader class Megs so I don't think I'll bother picking this one up.

I do not think so. It is the same size as Voyager Ironhide as you can tell in the second photo. FABs are basic size I believe.

eww those colors and it just simply reaks of failure.. Not a great figure, not a good one.. just disappointing..
