This does not have my aproval.
It's a KO that's going to sell for top dollar plus!
Now I'm saying, a VINTAGE StarConvoy use to run about $500, the recent reissue topped off at $100.
The reissue is not vintage, but exact. Since it's a newer official release, like Galvatron, it went for a more reasonable rate.
These KOs are not official, have questionable materials and are demanding vintage prices. This is not fair to anyone.
I can se if these where being sold for a reasonable amount, a collector who wants a double for play or a novice who'd like to experience the figure can take alot from a quality KO.
But these are being sold as TRANSFORMERS, and being sold with vintage prices. Neither of these statments are true, which is why I do not suport these.
Again, I understand if you want to experience the figure, but to do so at the rates they're asking for these KOs is a cheat to you!

False : the reissue has silver where the original had white. And some gold chrome where there was yellow.

Unrealistic.

At
most. But we know that won't happen.
At least it'll be easy to recognize him on the loose market. There's not a bit of chrome on the bugger.

I have to admit, that box has caught my attention. If for nothing else, I'd get this for the box. My REAL G1 Metroplex is all naked w/o box. You have to admit, this is a nice substitute if you don't want to blow big bucks on a G1 Metroplex.

The pic looks great. This does have me nervous though about distinguishing these from the real deal as others have said...

If this is it than all the worry is for nothing. He is missing all the chromed pieces. There wont be any trouble seeing this as the KO is is, white legs and black face? Thats not Metroplex

That's obviously not the final deco, just an uncolored test shot.

The price is a bit high but then again I'd like to see what Hasbro would price a reissue at.

I would buy the Metrotitan since I already have a Metroplex.

Not really. Sounds about right for a knock off made from a knock off factory without regulations. If it was Takara/Hasbro, fine, but it's not.
No point in arguing with me.

Looks quite okay to me.
Apart from the lack of paint and stickers.

But the mold was sit exact, made of good quality, and official.
These KOs are no different from me learning how to cast mold and dropping them in a box with "TRANSFORMERS" writen on it with a sharpie.
Yep, that would be worthless, and so are these!
As for a reasonable price being around $30-$40. That is fair to me, hell the recent motorized Dai Atlas reissue went for only $25, so why not this.
Give in to a gauge and they'll push the blade deeper, fight it and you may have a chance!

I am thankful that I have almost the entire G1 Canadian Boxed Series I-III Collection. Only the US boxed series is being KO'ed.

It's not worth it dude. KO supporters just simply don't get that these are "illegal unlicensed products".
Trust me, i've had this "discussion" with them in two other threads this week.

There was a recent Dai Atlas reissue?
