Does anyone know somewhere to purchase ONLY the figures sold in the combo packages of transformers (army figures or S7 figures?)

Or does anyone have any advice for posable figures that are proportionally correct for either Deluxe movie figures or Alternators (I know all the figures vary slightly in size)

What do you use?

(Oh and trying to avoid lego figures...this is done a lot.)

This is for display and stop motion movie.

I would go to a hobby shop. The kind that sells parts for maquettes. The usually have different sizes of people and different models. Like Civilians, military, Civil War outfits etc..

That's your best bet to find something that is sized correctly to the TFs.,

Hobby Lobby or stores similar to that will have exactly what you need. Most are sized for the train sets you see but are the same size about.

Problem is some transformers may be scaled to your sets in one form while totally different in another.

It seems revoltech is perfect, complete articulation and in scale enough that trick photography and stop motion can fix he sizes and make them exact.

If anyone is interested in adding human figures to their display, this would be it.

There is also (smaller) but well detailed army figures at TRU for sale.
