I would buy it for a reasonable price. Seems the KOs are a little high these days.

It would be $500 and made of brittle plastic. But people would argue that is better than buying an original complete but loose one for the same price.

QFT.
I still say nothing beats originals, especially with these magical places called flea markets.

I would not!
I mean it would cost the same prise as a real one and would be inferior + it's a KO!

Yes,will be a complete new Fortress Maximus with all pieces.
Everyone says that because its a KO,its bad quality, but these chinese dudes are no joke.
A original Fort.Max. on ebay will make your wallet cry
just a gun cost 25 bucks.
Just a piece of plastic.

If it was drastically cheaper then an original loose one and the plastic/paint/etc was close to similar, then yes.
I don't go for the Metroplex KO black face though, stuff like that is unacceptable (assuming that is the finished product)

I would buy one even if it wasnt full size. Perhaps a KO the size of Metroplex could do nicely.

How about if they make it a 100% complete Fort Max including box and styro inserts for 350.00?
I have seen plenty of those hideous reissue Brave Max figures sell for close to that.

That's way to much. Oh my god, could you imagine shipping too (makign sure you get good shipping so you don't wreck that fine K.O. box)

Too much?
MIB 1987 Fort Max complete = 750+
100% complete loose = 500+
Brave reissue = 250+
I understand that it is a lot of money for a toy but I am specifically asking folks who would be seriously considering one.
For the record, I own a vintage one and a KO would't bother me.

I already got the shrunk-down Voyager sized KO, so i won't be getting the full-sized one.

I've contemplated getting the shrunk down KO Fortress Max. But it just seems to me that the only thing Fort Max ever really had going for him was the size.
Besides, I'm not sure if the KO is still a 'headmaster'. If it's not, it has even less going for it.

If I saw it at a con, I'd be tempted. But I'd never ebay it.

well hasbro never gonna make one new Max because of safety reasons,eBay is too expensive,Brave Max too so a new, complete, normal size Max looks better.
Look what i find:

The Picture is from actoys.net,the most fever BBS of Thansformers in china.
http://www.actoys.net/bbs/read.php?tid=229531&u=2715As many know, competition in China is fierce for KO companies and to compete against eachother is commonplace. I have receintly been contacted by a different company than the first who is also doing KOs of G1 figures. Their first release - METROPLEX! I am told this is done is high quality and will come in a G1 style of box with styrofoam insert, instructions, catalogue and sticker sheets. I don't know what they will have for copyrites, this will be found out when they come in stock. The retail on this figure will be $124.99 US which I find is much more reasonable than $80 for a Dinobot considering the size and complexity of the figure.
