Just got this guy and classics jet fire on ebay and man was I surprised!

I didnt notice just how HUGE sound wave is! I absolutely love the mold and character (4th sound wave to date ;) ) but due to his size he dosent fit my space set aside for him!! (nor did any of the others :(, oh well looks like I may just have to get the animated one :P) Is he huge for has size class or are all the classics just smaller?

I think it's that he is big. I have some other deluxes and he is definately one of the bigger ones. I really like the mold and G1-yness to it.

You realise that both Classics Jetfire and Cybertron Soundwave are not Deluxe figures right?

Cybertron Soundwave is quite large, in an odd way compared to most jet based figures, wherein his wingspan does not make up the majority of his bulk...

He's pretty small if you ask me. Like I_Amtrunks said, the wingspan isn't much.

I could be wrong, but when he said 4th to date, I think he meant his fourth Soundwave to date. Personally I also love Cybertron Soundwave, it is one of my favorite figures from the line.

He could have ment it that way but it looks to me like a general statement and not a personal one.But like I said maybe he did meen his 4th soundwave to date it just doesnt read that way.

To me, one of the best features is how Laserbeak has a fixed place to perch on Soundwave. I dig that about the 6" Titanium version too.

I love this guy, he is my first and only SW, bought used. The arm kibble is his weakest point, but I use the right arm piece as a sort of cannon- takes a little imagination- and the left as s shield, of course.

Laserbeak is awesome! Amazing articulation, I imagine thanks to his transformation, but very welcome in such a small toy. Too bad he's the only minion for this version of SW.

I love the alt mode too, but I wish it fit together better. I had to mod it a bit to get the cockpit to snug down onto the body. Excellent paint apps throughout.

I only have Soundwave in this version. I still remember the places and time i consumed to chase this figure down. In d end, it was all worth it.

Cybertron still rocks.

Its a great design, even if getting him back to jet mode is tricky to get just right. I have the Takara version. I think he has a sort of gothic design and could easily see him crouched on the top of some tall building in the dark looking like some sort of vampire or something.

Soundwave the vampire ? There is something to that...
