Out of curiosity, those of you who have/ had a G1 Optimus Prime, how'd you put his gun in his hand?

As a kid it always bugged me that he couldn't hold his gun straight. I tried placing it with the gun stock both inside and outside of his forearm. I eventually decided I liked the stock outside his forearm so the barrel pointed inward. What about the rest of you?

I just prop it in lightly so it stays straight.

I have been able to mount the gun strait in all G1 primes I have come across.

sand the handle down? Hmm ... I would just straighten out his arm a little ... like in that picture 2 posts up.

I just pose it the same way as Clusterprime..

I have always had mine facing striaght, you just can't shove the peg all the way into the fist.

I also have the "Bloated" gun. However, Seibs OP has the small gun, there may be a differnece in the two, I dunno.

I heard that Shockwave tried that once...

G1 Optimus Prime is a good toy but his gun is awful. It is way too tiny compared to Megatron's fusion cannon.

I had the bloated gun too, and it never seemed to fit straight. Although, I can't really remember if I tried putting the post in his fist halfway.

Why not pu the gun on the other sude of the arm? there's plenty of place down there...

Encore Prime has a gun with a slightly longer handle allowing him to hold it straight.

I think either New Year's Prime or DW-00 Prim can do this as well.

Which is why I have the bloated version (which he can hold a LOT better).
