Hie guys.. So my parents agreed to get me a big toy for christmas.. I met this one guy who said he'd sell me a Galaxy Force Black Convoy for $110.. He's also gotta cybertron primus for $100.. Are they worth this kinda money? And whats the difference between black convoy and a normal one?

I'll be going down to the store in a few hours...

Toys R Us in the States had Galaxy Force Prime for 20 USD last week.

Wal-Mart stores still have Cybertron Primus for 50 USD.

heck, even for primus, there are not frequent but not rare sales either where he goes for only 25 USD, like it was a few months ago on amazon. don't pay 100 USD for primus, that ain't right.

I live in Malaysia... Primus for $50 huh? I suppose the shipping cost would bring it somewhere around the price I was looking at... And seriously this is the cheapest primus I've ever found so far..
So GF Black Convoy is overrated? I was suspicious that he was more expensive than primus but the guy said it was limited edition or something...
So you guys don't think I should get any of these? I did saw a GF Megatron on ebay going for $70 too.

Sadly though even a movie deluxe figure goes for bout $20 here.. I buy my Classics toys for about that price too... Mainly because of shipping I think.. And scalpers!! These people are all over the place..

Galaxy Force Convoy (red/black) retails for about $60-$70 here in the Philippines. Primus a little higher than that, but not much.

no - no matter how rare these toys are in your place, it's not worth spending that much for these toys that aren't even 5 years old out of production.

for the convoy, i think i'd spend that much if it was paired with Wing Saber. but alone that's very expensive.

then i would say its not worth it as the figure has been showing up around the US on clearance for 20 USD (again, just making sure we are still on the same page) I can't imagine it costing THAT much to ship it over.

Allright I'm definitely not gonna get GF Convoy then.. But I really like Primus and I don't see him getting any cheaper.. There's a loose one on ebay thats missing parts and faulty springs and even that costs about $55

Believe me when I say its hard to get retail prices for any TF here.. We don't have any Walmarts and very few TRU's.. And TF's generally don't last more than a few days in TRU..

I'm not sure what shipping would cost but auction has a fair BIN and ships worldwide (says need 30 feedback for international though)

I don't have 30 feedbacks.. Sigh... I'll try to negotiate with this guy later.. Hopefully he can reduce the price..

I can't find Megatron anymore, Prime ranges from $140 - $200, Skywarp and Screamer go for $90 - $110 here...

Well I decided to get Primus in the end.. I talked to the guy and we settled at $85... Still a bit steep but I don't think I'm gonna get a cheaper one than this..

You have to use the omega lock to transform him. insert it into the front of the figure and push upwards .

I would try ebay. You need these for christmas, right? I'm sure one of these guys can help you out. I got my Primus for 38.00 and GF Prime for 20.00. If you don't need them urgently. I would wait. Or you can check the sponsors for some of your favorite websites.
