...and for the very first time I visited an online store, I saw the IN STOCK label. This was BBTS, and I nearly fell off my seat when I saw IN STOCK next to it. BUT...

... WTF is it $29.99? I nearly fainted. This is even higher than their imports of things like Takara Arcee and Takara BB77. In fact for a moment I was looking at an Ebay page!

I know what you mean. They're easily the worst online store because of there stock and their prices. Just wait till you find one in stores.

Don’t pay a load of cash for 08BB, you will find him in due time, since him and Cliffjumper will still be in allspark assortments.

Thanks guys I have all the BBs I'll ever want already. Just thought I'd pre-warn people who might have been excited and then be disappointed again. Really feel it's ridiculous price though. Three times the amount...

You can't be serious. BBTS is quite possibly the biggest and best online toy retailer in existence. Sure, some of their prices are high for high-demand items but making a blanket statement like yours is pretty silly.

I don't have much experience with other online stores except BBTS. I can say that personally I have been very happy with them thus far.

But I am puzzled about the price for BB09. This must be from the same batch that filled my pre-orders with them, for which I paid from $12.95 to 14.95. So why the difference in price?

BBTS is usually very good about explaining high prices, such as the import Takara Arcees and BBs, but no explanation here about this price for BB09.

Oh don't be too quick to judge.

My personal experiences with them have proven that they're reliable overall, and dependable, but not without their faults. By any means...

1.) Their stock levels, are on occasion, terrible.
2.) They'll push a preorder back or completely remove it without notifying you whatsoever.
3.) Their prices are ridiculous on some items, and you can tell it goes well beyond normal prices.
4.) Their shipping is outrageously expensive, beyond customs charges, especially if you're an international customer.
5.) Their sales that pop up from time to time generally have okay prices, but what they don't tell you is that a lot of the stuff on sale isn't just overstock, but subpar and slightly damaged or opened packaging.

Will they stand by what they've sold you? Sure.
Will they correct a problem, if possible? Sure.
Are they legitimate and one of the more respectable? Sure.

I'll give 'em that. However, after being loyal customers for years, we should come to expect slightly better service than this.

I'm not saying people shouldn't deal with 'em. (Heck, I just did) But I do think people should be well educated about it before spending their hard earned money.

If you don't have to pay BBTS prices, good for you.
If you don't have to pay their ridiculous shipping costs, (which will change again, I guarantee it) good for you.

They're good, no doubt.
There are alternatives to them, however. BBTS isn't perfect, people need to remember that.

if you search for TF movie 08BB, just wait till he shows in retail store (and in normal retail price too). i believe the day will come soon, because i saw lot of TF movie toys back in stores yesterday (Nov 30, just buy 08 BB that day)
08BB, voyager ironhide, blackout, voyager megatron, barricade, etc they all shown up all of a sudden (in normal price). and i saw some repaints of energon & cybertron scouts wrapped in TF movie package, like elita-1 (repaints from energon arcee), and repaints of energon skyblast in military green. man, hasbro will never get enough of repaints.

We're not having another 08 Bumblebee online pricing debate.
