I'm hoping any of your electronics mavens can help me out on this one.

For the longest time, my MP3 player had this problem: Every now and again, it wouldn't start when I hit play. I had to open the cover, take out the battery, then put it back in again, then hit play and it'd be fine. It happened even with fresh batteries out of the box.

An MP3 player is a very small thing, and to go through the whole sequence above became so common I scarcely gave it a thought.

Recently however, the same thing has been happening with my Leader Prime. Same rigmarole, takes 5 times the time. I'm wondering if anyone can clue me in as to what's going on here. As I said, this happens even with fresh batteries, and has left me puzzled.

Hmmmmmm maybe it's just a dud mine did that then we took it back to the store.

On a TF note, I wish they would include them in a plastic bag along with the directions, instead of inside the bot, that is of course when they aren't feeling cheap and actualy include them!

Yeah, that would really solve the MISB problem!

Yeah, but you know it'll never happen with it being comon sense and all.

Hell, when I got the wall mount for my TV, it came with a stud finder(for amatures) and you know what, the batteries for it where packed in a pill style blister pack. I figure the aditional cost of that may have been $0.00.01, so why not aply the same theory to some thing like a collectable, as well as a tool

Simply because Hasbro IS Greedy ... they do repaints ! Me Dont Like !

Possibly corroded contacts. Check the battery compartment for rough spots/whitish stains. If present, carefully scrub them off. Use no water, because doing so would make you dumb.

the inside connectors get dirty and don't allow batteries to get their full potential. clean them off.
