Not too big on G2 actually. I'm looking for figures with good looking alt modes, good looking bot modes and good poseability.

I would say spring for any & all TM's or TM2's from BW. It might just be the shinyness for me, but Opitmal Optimus & TM2 Megatron just kick too much ass that you can't not get 'em!!! Also get BM Tankor, he's just got a good feel to him.........

The Cyberjets have all those things...

I agree with the Gen 1 Cyberjets. I used to think that they were horrible and cheap looking, but after picking up the Dreadwing RID set my opinion changed entirely.

The figures have light-piping in their visors, great poseability and (with the Robotmasters) better paintjobs. The figures are also pretty cheap so you can't really go wrong.

I think that you should also consider one of the Gen 2 Prime/RID Scourge mold as it's the best looking out of all the Primes.

Just off the top of my head I'd say Cybertron Scrapmetal. He's a great little figure with pretty damn good poseability

I already have some figures, I'm trying to keep all my figures on a scale when it comes to size, such as the reason I'm getting titanium Optimal Optimus is cuz he's smaller than the others and him being a maximal naturally means he's smaller than either Autobots or Decepticons. I already have Classics Optimus Prime and Classics Megatron, am planning on buying Classics: Starscream, Bumblebee, Ramjet, Grimlock, Astrotrain, Jetfire and Skywarp. I plan to set up battle scenes and I want everyone to be on scale so to speak. I don't want a minion to be bigger than his leader, unless it's someone like Cyb Metroplex or Superion Maximus or any of the other gestalts. So most of the figures I'm gonna be collecting will be from Energon, Cybertron, Classics and Titanium. Hope this helps in the suggestions department.

I'm also looking for characters that are decent reincarnations of G1 characters or really good homages, hence why Downshift and Shockblast are on my list.

Cybertron Smokescreen and Excellion should be on your list.

Excellion doesn't really appeal to me and neither does Smokescreen after looking at him, but thanks for the input.

I just won Superion Maximus on eBay and I'm hoping to buy Classics Devastator at my local wal-mart as soon as they release it.
