Holy crap!1 Look, will it ever end?

How'd they get the mold so fast?

I posted that one or two weeks ago!
But it does look mighty good.

yeah this was posted before. It looks pretty good, but not for that price.

If it's a KO of an easily available toy, it better be cheaper, ... and a good bit cheaper at that.

But how did they get the mold for it so quick? Does this mean 77 BB is dead to the water with TAKARA/HASBRO?

And yes its too expensive, especially since some members here still have them in stores.

LMAO-"Distortion Best King"! is that what "bumblebee" translates to? and how could they screw up the paint apps if there is a picture right there?

I didn't notice anything majorly wrong with the paint for a KO. Well apart from the lack of an autobot symbol, and that's understandable.

Besides, plenty official transformers fail to live up to the box art, and sometimes deviate quite markedly from it.

the stripe around the chest is what stood out to me. i know they aren't going for quality, but i thought that was odd :-?

i wish someone would make a KO or REAL 77BB with clear windows! (i know about the takara one, i just don't want to import) :P

=> hey you're right! I shoulda noticed that.

And yeah, it'd be great if they would've made that little extra effort and done the clear windows. Even if for no other reason than to show up Hasbro.

Another thing to notice about this is it doesn't have the automorph button.

I'm willing to bet someone just reverse engineered a 77 Bumblebee. That price is a little too high for a toy that's still availble. That paint job on that thing blows. They need to try again.

They got the mold by purchasing one of the Hasbro figures at retail and making casts of the different pieces. TakaraTomy still has the original molds.

y'know it might just be a more kid-friendly toy without the automorph.

I'd have to agree that this is a remould. You can see it in some areas, like the mirrors are thicker than on the original. Also the headlights don't look like they shift forward.

On closer inspection, it gets less and less impressive.

Define easily availiable. I've only seen 3, and bought 1.
Anyhoo, that's not a bad looking KO.

Well it's currently available in a 2 pack with Barricade around here, and I'm still seeing the odd one in a single pack, and the odd 'evolution' 2 pack.

Also I'm pretty sure that if you watch a few on ebay, you can get the real thing for less or for a comparable price.
