I was wondering what size the g1 Predacon reissue set was by today standareds and also how big they were when they formed predaking.

As Predaking they stand about an inch taller then the Energon combiners, give or take a few centimeters. Separately each is about as big as a Cybertron Deluxe. If your getting the reissue each has diecast parts. Its a really nice set.

I second that. It is a real kickass set to have! Predaking currently stands menacingly just behind my Binaltech/Alternator Decepticons.

Consider this a resounding third. This set was probably my single best TF purchase EVER. Nothing compares to the combined form of Predaking...

Probably the best combiner around, period. I have an original plastic and the reissue diecast. Either one is great.

I'd say they are bigger than Cybertron Deluxes, but smaller than a Voyager.
Saying that Predaking is only an inch taller than the combiners doesn't tell the story either. In weight and over all side (not just height) he dwarfs those combiners. Predaking looks like he's on steroids in comparison.
But definately agreed, it's a great great set.

Well, I'm convinced.
Where can I get one, and how much?

You could always e-bay it, but I think the prices have climbed a bit in past months. Bet on somewhere between $150 and $200... BigBadToyStore.com is sold out at the moment, but they're asking $259 MIB anyway.

With the G1 reissue Predaking set as Predaking they stand roughly the same height as the Origional Omegasupreme just over 27 centimeters individually they stand roughly the same height as Classic Optimus Prime so roughly a voyager size figure. If you donot own the origional release of Predaking then the reissue is well worth the price you pay just too awesome not to own. As far as where to get him you could try ebay or some of the online toy stores as far as price for a complete reissue set mint in box you are probably looking at somewhere between $200 and $300 Us dollars which is still cheaper than trying to purchase and locate an origional release and well worth the price. Of course if you can't afford the reissue you could always try to locate the knockoff Predaking which is far cheaper with different colours although the quality isn't quite as good but you do get the same menacing size as either the reissue or the origional.

The only thing I don't really like about the re-issue Predaking is that all the diecast weighs him down in his combined form. I have trouble getting him to stand up. As individual figures, they're great. At first, I couldn't find the little peg that made Headstrong stand, but then I found it. Yay. I just don't like the shortness of Razorclaw's arms......it bugs me. I got my Predaking giftset for $145, when it was still cheap. However, my dog did chew on the left side of the bow, but it's not noticable since Onslaught's box covers it up.

Thanks to everyone for there answers to my questions. It is a toss up between this set and mp starscream. I'm this close to breaking down and buying him even with him not being show accurate colors. Since I just descovered an import store near me that has both of them. I guess only time will tell which one I get.

Predaking reissue is supposedly to be similar to G1 predaking, if not close to G1. Just like G1, there will be diecast parts and well, weigh quite a deal when combined. Nonetheless it is worth getting as I have bought 1 too. It completes your dream of owning a combiner who has no known weaknesses. Currently the price has gone up a little..about 200+. MP starscream has its own beauty though we can't really compare between MP and reissue. Anyway I have both of them and I believe you will luv them no matter you buy just 1 of them or both
