You are all familiar with Classic Deluxe Rodimus. What are your thoughts on a possible Rodimus Prime figure? Is he worth it? or not at all? Keep rolling!

If they keep to the tradition of what the Classics line is about, then yes I would definitely buy him. I like the fact the entire vehicle transforms into the robot (at least in the animated version). Although of course I remember a couple of episodes where his trailer actually gets left behind! I'd definitely get it if they do something like the 86 movie version. Can't wait to see what they can do, if the improvements to Rodimus deluxe and Starscream are any precursor of things to come!

Considering the Titanium version is just about everything you could want from Rodimus Prime, I don't really see the point.

yes titanium rp is cool but that would be cool to have a mp rodimus prime too.

Exactly. The titanium version has its share of flaws, but it's miles above the G1 figure.
Unless Hot Rod/Rodimus shows up the next movie I don't see there being enough of a demand for any more versions of him.

While Titanium Rodimus Prime is a perfect Classics RP substituion, it DOES have one major flaw: Its limited availability. I've been trying to find one forever and the only place I've found one is online, but the cheapest one costs $30.00-$35.00.
Also, let's hope that in Classics 2.0, the upcoming Galvatron figure is a Deluxe so Tit. RP chan be an even match to it. But seeing as how the regular Classics Megatron was a Voyager, it is likely that Classics Galvatron will be too. So it looks like we'll have Galvy towering oven Rodimus.

that titanium suffers from simple transformation, stability issues due to the diecast.. having a Classics Rodimus Prime in a Voyager sized bot, with a cool and complex transformation with silver pipes on the arm, and that large Gun canon he sports would be just Prime..
not to mention the trailer accessory becoming the huge upgraded armor on the legs arms and torso..

I've never once had any stability issues with my TiT Rodimus. I find he's actually quite easy to get some great action poses with. My only gripe with him is the gigantic gaping hole in his torso in bot mode.
I would honestly be surprised if we got a new Rodimus Prime for the Classics 2.0/Universe line up. However, if we do get one, I really hope they find a way to have him transform without leaving a massive hole where his upper body should be.
Oh and Skywarp, TiT RP does have pipes on his arms.

6" TIT and Alt Rodimus pretty much does it for me. Kudos Hasbro!

If they decided to make one, I'd probably pick it up. I had Hot Rod as a child, but never Rodimus. I'm not saying he would be on the top of my wish list, but they could do worse.

I'll give you the diecast, but not everyone minds simple transformations.

if there will be a bigger and better RODIMUS PRIME figure, design-bodypaint-articulation wise, I'll go for it!
Or just imagine Deluxe Rodimus getting an upgrade...
