Wow, I just got an email from BBTS and Skylynx is now due in two weeks and Ironhide and Ratchet in three! I need to get my money in order quick!

Yes, well at least it's speculated that they are repaints, but now I'm not so sure.

I was actually going to preorder Megatron last night but BBTS changed the description of him recently from being repainted to "The toys themselves should be exactly the same as the US releases."

So now I'm not so sure, and with Skylynx coming in early I don't know if I'd have the money for Megatron too.

Yeah just what is that about? I recently decided to get the Classics line as well, but I just couldn't bring myself to buy Nerf Gun Megatron. Then I saw a lot of positive reviews and when this Japanese repaint news surfaced I was hopeful that without that ridiculous green and purple I could still get him.

If they're exactly the same as the Hasbro ones, why even bother? And they're dearer too!

Don't pass up Megatron. I felt the same way because of the colors but decided to get him on a whim. He is great.
I also just picked up a Prime and now wish I had gotten him
a long time ago.
Hasbro is only hurting themselves financially by not bringing
more out sooner.
I would have liked the Japan versions to have different color schemes too and would have been tempted to pick some up,
but why bother if they are the same thing as Hasbro.

I need to contact BBTS and check. my emails not funcitoning properly yet... hope i can get that done soon. if it's "exactly the same" then I am not really wanting it.

pre-ordered my skylynx about a month ago. always wanted this guy and he probably wouldn't look too out of place with my classics. can't wait!
