I was going through my old G1 Transformers that I found in my parents basement, and trying to identify them all.

One I'm having trouble with is a blue mini-van. It's described on this web page: http://tfarchive.com/toys/reviews/reiss_skids.php so I'm pretty sure it's Skids, but I can't find a Skids like that, or any other Transformer like that, anywhere in the galleries.

I also have a yellow Lamborghini Countach with an Autobot sticker, and can't ID him either.

Can anyone help?

The Yellow Lamborghini is sure to be Sunstreaker.

that is Skids (blue van with red stripe). The yellow car is Sunstreaker, which is no longer produced.

That's Strange, they work fine for me. And yes Skids is the Van, and Sunstreaker is the yellow Lambo.

I believe there are better lambo toys out there than Sunstreaker... , but yes, that seems to be who you describe.

Ahh for Lambo toys I was always partial to Sideswipe. He is the Red Lamborghini Countach. If you read his tech spechs, he is also the "brother" to Sunstreaker. There was a later Lambo that was modeled after Sideswipe and was a police car, his name escapes me at the moment.

Red Alert?

Red Alert....he was more of a Fire chief vehicle. Why would the fire department be able to afford a Lambo?

Tax hike? Or maybe it was a part of the incentives package so they could hire the fire chief to this particular fire department.

Or it was purely coincidental. In the Diaclone line, the Sunstreaker mold also had a police version, so illogical as it sounds, it sounds like they were just trying to find as many uses for the mold as possible.
