Nice, I would have liked to have seen this on the shelf way back when then one that got released. Still, this mold had a decent revival as Scourge, I got him used, alittle loose, and missing one of the larger rockets, but he makes a great Scourge drone!

Love these unreleased G2 toys. I had seem a picture of this guy once before. There was a redeco of the Megatron combat hero too.

Not a huge fan of the toy, but that's nice color scheme.

What were the points on the back of G2 figures for, anyway? I remember I had a bunch.

This looks like where they got the inspiration for Armada Powerlinx Optimus Prime.

The color scheme probably would have turned it away from me when I was a kid since I was really picky about original colors to the characters.
I actually enjoyed that mold of Prime when I was a kid. I remember when I played with them, I would use it as the new body of Optimus Prime when I would pretend his old one was damaged.

It wouldn't hurt to take it out of the package and transform it. =( Either way, watta cool cool repaint.

Now that is a purty figure, and proof that Prime does not always have to be red to be good looking (not being "flamed" also helps him to look good).
Nice to see some rarer figures every now and again!

I have to say that colour really seems to suit that mold. That's the Laser Prime, right? Man, I wish I could get me one of those...

This is laser Prime.
This is the original toy it is a repaint of.
