Why can't Sky Lynx come back to the U.S.? Why can Music Label figure be released over here? WHY DOES JAPAN ALWAYS GET THE GOOD STUFF (most of the time)?!!

Uhh... the biggest news here is that the repainted Japanese Classics have been moved up almost 4 months ahead of schedule and are now set to be released in 2 weeks. Yet there are still no pics of what the repaints will look like.

They moved up alot of stuff.

I'm not getting any of it, but I'm glad they did. I hope this is a trend that catches on cause I'm bord with the movie and just wanna see the couple AllSpark characters that I want then be done with that.

Can't say I care about Anaimated, but I wanna see some breaking news on the new Classics already!

I don't know, cause they bother to make it while Hasbro just keeps recirculating recent figs.

Even when they bother to make new ones, all they do is rotate them till the stock runs out, just look at the RealGears for starters :?

Japan does they same thing too, but they continue to broaden the horizons as they do.

Very good news indeed. I wonder what prompted Takara to push these forward? The repainted movie line are all shelfwarmers here in Japan, so I wonder if they are trying to push the other series forward.

 I just noticed this:

Sky Lynx’s hull is shell-resistant and steel-reinforced. His interplanetary travel capabilities are capable of a maximum speed of 30,000 mph and a range of 40,000,000 miles.

So if he were really booking it he could keep up with Apollo 10.

The earlier release of the classics line is bad news for me. I had to cancel my preorders because I just don't have the extra money right now. It sucks when you have too much preordered and they all end up falling into a two month period. As much as I want the classics, I want my MP Megs more.

Yeah I kind of wished they had stuck to the original release dates too. Cash is a little tight this December.

It makes one wonder if the CLASSICS will just be US packaged figures with a Japanese sticker, or if they actually will have new packaging, and somenew paint aps (especially Megatron)?

Maybe it's just me, but unless it's something real rare, I never preorder. BBTS always sells out right away, but them restocks 2 weeks later. And something as comon as Classics will be on every web site anyway, so why bother.

To be honest, the only one that(possibly) intrests me is the recolored Megatron.

That's great news, I've had Sky Lynx & Ironhide on pre-order since the beginning of October. It would be nice to at least have Sky Lynx by Christmas.

Not to take away any Botcon thunder, but I prey for seeker repaints so that the Japanese (and the rest of the world who missed out) can get a shot at these.

Once I see pics of what the Classics actually look like, I might think of picking a few up. The fact that there aren't any real pics or info makes me think they're not repainted at all. I would love to be proven wrong.

I wonder if Sky Lynx will get special changes like silver vs white and gold vs yellow on Star Convoy? I want Sky Lynx, he's one of my favorite characters.

It's a good question. We should know in the next week or so. Pictures always hit early as Asian distributors get their hands on the product.

Skylynx really moving ahead of schedule? What a surprise! :P
