I Was Bored And I Knew I Could Do This With G1 And Classic Jetfire...So I Did.

I Don't Have A Cybertron Jetfire, So I Used His (Literal)Evil Twin....Hope You Enjoy It.

P.S. Yes, That Small Jet IS G2 Jetfire, I Wanted To Keep It In The Family...

I guess you wanted to just do Jetfire figures because Classics Starscream does a good Gerwalk mode too.

That Is a Very Cool Thread, If I'd Known About It I Might Not Have Posted Mine. It Does Look Like I'm The Only One To Have G2 Jetfire In Gerwalk Mode Though (But, Hooligan Is Cool Too).
BTW, Am I The Only One Who Has Noticed That Some Of The Cyberjets Have Improper Faction Symbols(Even Though they Are Color Matched Properly To Their Respective Jets, ie:Jetfire And Strafe)?.

I Didn't Think About Trying Any Other Figures, Even Though My Desk Is Surrounded By Classics And G2's Currently....

Well, since the five minutes are up... Yeah, I've noticed. Jetfire spent a little while as a Decepticon in some continuities, but I'm not sure what Strafe's excuse is.
My guess is they wee originally going to use the redecoes as another set of Decepticons, switched to Autobots at the last minute, and forgot to change the symbols.

You Know , Extending The Line Of Thought I Brought Up, I Wonder Why There Haven't Been Any Re-Issues Or Repaints Of Any Of The Original G2 Designs(Like The Four Small Cars Or The Small Jets). Many Of The Cybertron Trilogy Designs Have Been Redone Many Times Over. Have The G2's Been So Thoroughly Forgotten?

The Armada seekers have the best Gerwalk mode of all, in my opinion.

I think G2 may have missed out in terms of re-issues and repaints because it doesn't have as much of the nostalgia that G1 has, but doesn't have the articulation play value of the more modern lines.
P.S. You don't need to capitalise the first letter of every word when you type. It makes it harder to read. The standard method is to capitalise the first letter of each sentence only.

In English, of course.

In My Defense, I Have Been Typing Like This Since I First Came Online In '95, I Really Can't Do It Any Other Way Without Slowing Way Down....I Had Mentioned This Before, But It Was Wiped Out In The Recent Crash...

This brings up something I've wondered for a while: What actually is the reasoning behind gerwalk modes? I know the come from Macross/Robotech, but what can they do that cant be done in either jet or robot mode?
In case you cant guess, I've never watched Robotech, so I'm curious

If I Remember Properly, The Gerwalk Mode Combines The Speed And Mobility Of The Jet Mode With The Versatility And Firepower Of The Battloid Mode.
I'm A Fan Of Many Types Of Giant Robots (Not Just Transformers), So I Used To Follow Robotech And The Old Shogun Warrior Cartoons.

Heh, I just realized, Cybertron MEnasor is pretty much a Gerwalk mode waiting to happen. Looks kinda warhammery this way, actually.

Yeah, that pretty well sums it up. The batteroid (battloid) mode was the most versitile, but also the slowest. The fighter was the fastest, but lacked the high maneuverability of the batteriod (especially in ground combat situations where the batteroid acted like a foot soldier.) The gerwalk (guardian/gladiator depending on the literary reference) sacrificed some of the speed of the fighter and some of the maneuverability/versatility of the batteroid to gain an amount of each.
