eBay seller etoyshunter has the new "FAB" Megatron up for auction here. This is a grey area for many fans at the moment as it is really unclear given the size of the figure if it is indeed a FAB figure or an icey Voyager sized Megatron. Etoyshunter was nice enough to take many size comparison pictures of Megatron next to the recent Seibertron.com gallery inductee, Ironhide

The more I see this thing, the more I want it. I really like the look of this figure, and the leader class for that matter. I wonder if this thing really is a FAB or if it will be released as a voyager in voyager packaging. Not that I want to start a flamming debate over it or anything like that.

For a figure its not bad but for a Megatron it sucks. Thats why im going to use it as Megatrons brother.

I was thinking the same thing, but at the moment that wouldn't be the greatest of ideas as I'll be moving soon and I don't need one more thing to pack up.

I agree. It's a nice figure, Transformation isn't that great, but I'm still having a hard seeing him as Megatron.

I like this (and all the other figures for that matter) more and more every time I see a picture of them.
I said it before and I'll say it again. All those who thought the new line would stink will shut up!
Amen!

This looks good. For the most part, the FABs look good.

I remenber there being news on another site (tfw2005 I think) about it being no F.A.B. and I really don't care about the look because Im buying the reg. line (excluding ultimate bb and the fabs). If it was a fab I think it is cool but the fabs is not how I roll

That FAB or Voyager Megatron isn't really that bad a looking toy all round.
Personally, I'm not too keen on the movie toys as they don't feel like the G1 toys we all knew and loved so much...and no, I'm not bashing the whole movie and movie toys.
I do like the looks of some.

It's a good mold, just a little bland in colors and weird in the hand design. While not impressive, I don't think it's disappointing.

Still not really feeling this one...
It looks so... cheap. I can't believe this isn't the FAB version (at least, according to TFW2005 it isn't) - he looks super not-poseable, and those bronze fingers are weird...

In there own special way the FAB's are kinda neat, but
I would rather blow my money on the leader class megatron
and optimus. So when will we see color pics of leader class megatron?

I like him, and i have since I first seen him. But the more I look, the more I wish the "ice" was more subtle in this toys design.
Use it more as light piping and stop obstructing all that robot goodness!

it's been confirmed that it's not the FAB, I don't know why people keep referring to it as such.

Are you blind or something? This Megatron is highly poseable : head, shoulders, elbows, elbow swivels, waist, hips, knees, feet, even the claws are articulated. Sometimes I wonder if people bother checking the pics and descriptions before posting.

On tfw2005. Source is an Hasbro insider (but they won't tell). Even without this source, it's now %100 obvious it's not FAB Megatron. ****, the thing is TALLER and LONGER than Voyager Ironhide. Doesn't share the deformed look of the other FABs. Doesn't share the poor articulation of the other FABS (except Prime). Has lightpiping (none on the FABs). And so on. If anything, it transforms in the style of Protform Prime and Starscream. It could almost be called "First movie appearance Megatron".
