I picked up the set a few days ago, they're all really cool. And I thought that Grindor's big feet, Oil Slick's big arms, and Dirt Rocket's bike mode that looks like a bug's head just screamed "combine me!"

Holy crap! You mean this thread actually talks about how a set of minicons from the Classics line is GOOD????? :shock:

Anyway, nice combination. Are they just "perched" on each other, or did you actually find a way to stick them together? Now, a combination of the Predator Attack team....THAT would be cool.

They are terrible...

The only saving grace of the Dirt Digger team is the car (who is quite nice) the other two are aweful....

Yeah, they are just "perched" on top of one another, I did remove Oil Slick's legs for balance issues. He is still remarkably stable though...

I think Redimus posts his dislike of the Classic minicons in every thread anyone has ever posted about these toys. I know they're not for everyone, but I think most of them are really cool - they are some of the most unique TFs I've ever seen, and in a line that is made up entirely of old, over-used, worn-out, stale figures with un-imaginative transformations schemes (with the exception of Astrotrain) I'm glad to have some new and original little TFs.

I'll take the Classic minicons over another damn Rodimus figure any day of the week.

Two.... maybe three threads, and one of them was my own thread which I started to discuss how ripped off I felt after buying these peices of rubbish..

Id rather go for new versions of childhood charecters (with new and interesting transformations IMO... and the seekers) than a bunch of poorly designed minicons. The moterbike one has legs that are unrecognisable as legs, and that dont realyl do the job legs should do either... Its that kind of poor lazy design I cannot stand.

Meh, yeah, Dirt Rocket kinda bites, but where I'm concerned Grindor and Oil Slick, especially Grindor, make up for it.

I dont much care for grindor, cuase his robot mode (and to an extent is alt mode) have been sacrificed too mcuh in the name of having an 'interesting' transformation.

I rather have a slightly boring transformation with 2 good looking modes than an enjoyable transformation with too poor modes.

LOL. That is a pretty nice combination.

I happen to like most of the Classics Minicons as well.
