Nice.. I may order one since I won't be able to make it to the great white north for the con.

Oh, and front paged and credited.

(I hope I did that right)..

From TFSource - "Note: Not available to residents of Ontario - unless you can't make the con we prefer you pick the piece up at the show, so that it's fair to everyone and they can get a piece as well."

Does TF source have any idea how BIG Ontario actually is? Geographically speaking, it's a big freakin' province! At more than a million square kilometres in size, the province is slightly smaller geographically than the second and third largest U.S. States of Texas (678,051 kilometres squared, or 261,797 sq mi) and California (423,970 kilometres squared, or 163,696 sq mi) COMBINED. It is bigger than France and Germany combined.

While I appreciate what TFSource is trying to do, it really doesn't represent the realities on the ground, given the size of the province.

This little "note" means that someone living in Buffalo, New York (171 kilometres south of Toronto) can order the item off their website, but someone in Ottawa (where I live) cannot, even though at 428 kilometres north east of Toronto, it is actually twice as far. Even New York City (801 kilometres away) is closer than Thunder Bay, which is 1292 kilometres north west from Toronto, one of the major cities in the province and certainly well within the geographical boundaries of the province.

Yes, it's easier to ban all of Ontario, but it really doesn't make sense to penalize people because of a postal code that doesn't really mean that they're anywhere near the site of the convention.

There's barely anyone in Northern Ontario, most of its clumped in the south, and even then, the population isn't that high..

I'm all over this one. I'm not going to get raped on E-Bay just to complete my WST collection

You could always have it mailed to someone you know out-of-province, and have them mail it to you.

That does indeed suck for Ontario residents. However, you said you live in Ottawa. If I remember my Geography right, Ottawa is right on the border of Quebec and Ontario.

So isn't it possible that you have a friend just across the border that you could have order it?

I'm sure Colin is doing his best to make sure people in Ontario who can't make the show get there mitts on a G2 Flamethrower. I know I'll be getting mine from the show this year. I'm still not sure if I'll be a vendor this year or not yet. Oh well, I hope to see lots of Seibertronians there this year!

Actually, the Ontario "ban" may be case by case since it does say "...unless you can't make the con we prefer you pick the piece up at the show, so that it's fair to everyone and they can get a piece as well." That to me implies that you can get one but they prefer you get one from the con first. I would email them to see if it is possible for you to get one through them.

I was thinking the same thing. It would be bad for their excellent rep if they decided to basterdize the rest of ontario just because they couldn't make it.

Where is the convention taking place? Let me guess: Toronto?

Curt from TFsource is an awesome guy! You should appreciate the hoops he had to go through to secure some of these since they are a Convention exclusive. He has never done me wrong with anything that I have ordered from him. Keep up the good work Curt!

I agree, he busts his ass to work hard for the fans.

TransformersCon is taking place at the DoubleTree Plaza and Hotel on Saturday April 28th. 655 Dixon Road, Toronto, Ontario.

placed my preorder, can't wait to get my hands on it to complement the rest of my wstf's, both official and unofficial.

so does that seem like a good price? The WST seem kinda high but perhaps that really is the norm for them. I do admit I like the WST but don't have any yet, seems like a good set to get.

oh yeah, the little guys although a tad expensive, are well worth it. And although the wstf dinobots are technically "knockoffs" they are incredibly high quality, and in a few ways are better in quality than the official wstf's.

I have to agree that Curt is great. He always answers my emails promptly, usually same day, which is saying a lot because I know he has to be extremely busy. The service is second to none and the shipping is awesome. They are ususally really fast and they go to great lengths to make sure that your items won't be damaged.

The price for this WST is about on par with most of the others and considering this is an exclusive, it's really a deal. If you wait you won't be getting one except for on ebay at several times that amount.

I prefer Tfsource over BBTS to tell the truth, but last time I tried to pre-order something I had to pay for it in advance; not something I'm cool with.
