Will the real FAB Megatron please stand up?

TFormers.com has posted the first pictures of what looks like it is a new non-transforming Megatron due to the simplicity of the figure. The pictures that TFormers.com have posted include an unknown accessory which we haven't seen yet. Check out the TFormers.com gallery by clicking here. This does not appear to be the Fast Action Battler Megatron since it doesn't look like this figure transforms.

You can check out Seibertron.com's brand new Voyager Class Megatron gallery here.

Does anyone remember the Power Rangers movie from years back. With the slimy villain as the main bad guy, thats what this reminds me of, except uglier. It definitely makes the other versions look better though. They jsut don't seem to have done very well with ol Megs with this line. But thats probably a problem with the CGI version jsut being to complex to effectively transfer to plastic.

not a FAB, doesn't transform, and that extra part.. looks like something to replace one arm and look like a weapon IMHO :)

It's just an action figure from the non-transformable sub-line.

I updated the news post to reflect that this does not appear to be the FAB Megatron since it doesn't look like this figure transforms. Sorry about the confusion!

Not a bad *mold*, but what's with that creamy paint/plastic? I honestly feel a metallic or frosty paint job would have suited him better. This Megatron looks too smoothed-out for a guy who looks like an animate stack of daggers.

instead of being stuck in an arctic cave, they just dipped him in a Dairy Queen Blizzard.

Could it possibly be a Kabaya Kit?

Looks like an accurate rendition of the character model, and with pretty respectable articulation. However, it doesn't turn into anything so I couldn't give a monkeys.

EDIT: Wheeljack, I think they meant "real" as in "this is the real Fast Action Battler, while the figure with the ice turned out not to be". Not that this looks like a FAB either...

Looks like Hasbro is trying to save money by not giving these movie toys a proper paint job and detail.
