I'm actually warming up to the movie Starscream, I always liked the design, but could never accept it as 'Starscream' - but I think the head has got me sold now.

Check out Remy's full gallery over at TFKenkon.com:

Enjoy!

Didn't realize he was so damn big. I like him, but then I've pretty much liked him since the first proto pics were leaked. Not quite the classic Starscream face, but I like it.

He reminds me of Rattrap in your avatar, tentagil.

Nah, it's a truely aweful version of Starscream as we know him, but it looks to be a decent TF toy.

Crap alt mode that atempts to be a real jet but hides nothing of SS's robot mode. CHECK!
Ugly head, CHECK!
Ugly proportions. CHECK!
No proper hands. CHECK!
Chicken legs. CHECK!

His only saving grace is that he isnt the mass of mess that Barricade's robot mode is.

No, I stand by what I said:

Maybe it's true that he is an awful TF because the moment I opened the link, the only thing caught my attention is the quality of the pics. Good job Remy.

WOW!! He is huge I like it. I thought he was smaller! He will be mine. Stop with the "He is not Starscream". Does Starscream have to look the same all the time? As a matter of fact do all of them have to look the same? I enjoy change. He is a bad ass TF. If we called him Dreadwing or Afterburn or any other name would that change peoples opinion's of this fig? I like it.

I still think a better robot could have come out of the Raptor, but oh well. :?

Redimus, you're talking out of your ass. When you actually get the toys, come back with a more serious opinion.

I'm fairly sure Red knows what he's talking about. I've held and transformed it and I think it's garbage. Just because you buy all prototypes and fist shots at boxed figures doesn't make the the worlds leading expert on the subject.

How tall is starscream? I was looking at the pics and was using classic SS and Cybertron SS. Then I noticed classics SS looks big next to Cybertron SS. So I am a little confused? :???: Tell me in inches please.

He's a voyager sized figure, like that Galaxy Force Starscream he is pictured with. Obviously a lot bigger than the Deluxe sized Classics SS. I'd put him at around 7.5 inches tall.

In any case he looks decent. Still can't get over the non existent hands but he makes a decent plane. Not too bad IMHO.
I'll Probably get him. but he'll probably be one of the last few I get for that line.

I'll probably pass on this one. I don't really care for either mode that much. In alt mode it looks like a jet landed on top of a tank giving it that Blitwing look. In bot mode he looks a mutant moth. I know a lot of people have been moaning about how top heavy Barricade looks (although I like the way Barricade looks in both modes) and Starscream appears as though he might be on the top heavy side too. He might actually be more unstable than some of the other movie figures due to his large size. In one of the pictures he's nearly as tall as Masterpiece Starscream.

Thanks Down_Shift.

Now I agree I havent got him in the plastic. But I do have eyes, and I can see the pictures. He just looks like a rubbish transformer. Its a crying shame, especilly since he seems ot be one of the less kibbletastic movie figures (I generally prefere cleaner robot modes than a lot of the movie ones have).
It is not *just* becuase he dosnt look like starscream that I dont like him (though that fact dosnt help his case either. Personally, I think if it is suposed to be a charecter we all have known for (in some cases) over 20 years, he should at least be in some way recognisable as that charecter. He dosnt have to be a clone of G1, or Armada, or Cybertron Starscream, he just needs a couple of family traits. He dosnt. People who know little about tfs other than seeing it as a kid are gonna take one look and go, who is that again?

And there are movie toys I do like, by and large I've liked the looks of the whole FAB line, and Bumblebee, Brawl and Ratchet dont look too bad either, Ironhide would be a lot better if his arms werent showing in alt mode.

It's like a big hunk of WTF?. There must have been something they could have done to conceal the big rectangular hole down the back of the jet or the robot head poking out of its ass.

Alright, you who knows everything, tell me what a good Transformer is then. I for one think the look and transformation is a million times more interesting than any of the past Starscreams we got save for MP-03. And I know what I'm talking about, I got them all.

Now now, I never said I know it all. I was giving my objection, being someone who has held it and was glad to but it back down. A good starscream? The three screamers from the Unicron trilogy were great moulds. The Armada, Energon and Cybertron (mind you I really do prefer the GF Voyager sized) Starscreams were good, but improved with every new incarnation of the character. Robot Masters Starscream is a good mould and so is classics. I also have lots of transforemrs, but that doesn't make me the know all to end all of opinions. I said what I said because you came off a little harsh on Red, just because he said he didn't like the figure. So I, being someone who had it and got rid of it, shared my experience of it. A friend of mine in Toronto has both Leader and Voyager Primes as well as Leader and Voyager Megatron. I plan on taking a peek at them this weekend, but I wouldn't consider myself all knowing just because I've seen them up close.

Interesting plane mode (wish it had a front landing gear instead of Classics G1 seeker gear). Robot mode is a bit different from Starscream. I kinda would have liked some red in his color scheme as a throwback to his G1 roots. He looks a little too plain.

as a die hard strascream fan, i could type you out a 20000 page essay to say whats wrong with that statment. no starscream does not have to look the same. look at pretender starscream, or action master starscream. comapre g1 to armada screamer. or best represenation of all, machine wars starscream.

i am not fond of this toys design to be honest, though i love movie megs design. the thing is, screamers and megs design do not in any way represent the character theyre supposed to be.

starscream was an elegant, aristocratic egomaniacal type of person, who beleived himself to be the best looking, and greates decepticon of all.

which is why i beleive hes the one decepticon pretender whose not a mutant monster.

the toy looks ok. not great though. if it were beastmachines waspinator, ide be all over it. paint it red and gall it terrorcon (terrorsaor) meh sure.

give it another name even better. ide probably still pass on the toy though. because to me, that toy just isnt something ide enjoy seeing on any of my shelves. but since its got the starscream banner on it, i HAVE to buy it, even though it kind of makes me gag.

tis truly a sad sad day, when a megatron apeals to me more then a starscream

He's a cool-looking toy, but he's not Starscream.

MP Starscream is more of an SS, than this one! (And, for me to say that about that hideously colored imposter is saying alot!!)
