And what a hunk of crap it is! Its Superion. Same exact planes as the junky ones I picked up at Big Lot's but with the feet, shields, and middle robot (i forget their names, its been a LONG time!).

I thought it was going to snap in pieces just putting it together. Half the joint insertion spots are rough and the thing won't balance standing up.

Looks neat but you can tell it cost about a buck. $10 for it plus the easter basket and 7 Halloween sized packs of candy.

Not sure if it was really worth it. It is really really cheap.

I have similar Devastator and Bruticus KOs which were quite cheap and the quality is very low, but they still look quite good as display pieces.

I hate all four of the combiner KO's EXCEPT the KO of Defensor.

With Hot Spot as red instead of blue, it actually looks pretty good. Mine is nice and solid, and I like the proportions of the combined mode a LOT more than I do the proportions of the other three (especially Compumenasor).

Yeah thats the worst KO i have, though i did have to glue bits of Devastator together because they wouldn't stay, but my fave is Defensor.

I got one of those Superions too. It makes a good place holder until I get the G1.

I used to buy these just for the knockoffs and have the basket for my neices and nephew

But recently there just putting out the same old things so I stopped

The Bruticus Knockoff, which is actually a knockoff of the Car Robots variant of the toy, is very nice. It is in original Car Robots colors, which Hasbro couldn't pull off, since they changed the toys for RiD. Plus it has the combining weapons feature. Neat. I never had problems with the quality of this one, except for Vortex's blades being a little weak.

My son wanted it badly and when he got it he was upset to find two of the jets broken out of the box. TF dad to the rescue I fixed them up proper and reapplied the stickers so they won't fall off.

Yeah its a very very cheap KO, not only is the mold old and creates artifacts, but the plastic used is really cheap.

Ouch, I got all six of those individually at Dollarama for $6 total. It is a cool set though. Obviously it's not actual toy quality, but nothing breaks. And besides, it's "Rainbow" Devastator .

I got those Devastator KO from Walgreens. They were packaged separately though. I let my kid play with them in the sandbox and only know where three and a half of them are.
They are pretty good quality though. And the weapons are great for G1 replacements. I actually have them sitting by my computer for some time now.

I'm glad I rea this post. My Kmart had this on close out for 5 bucks each. Normally I woulda jumped on em, but reading your review, I gladly passed. Bought myself a happy meal instead.

actually, it's very close to their Diaclone colors.

Incidently, the Defensor KO is actually based off of the Guard City colors from the Battlestars line.

The Reissued Metalic Predaking giftset usually goes for $180-$250... It's a cheap alternative until I get the real thing...

I have the Superion KO and it works fine for me. The hips are a little loose so, if the shelf shakes, he either falls forward or backward. No other problem than that.

I like KO's, a large majority of my G1 collection are KO's, I go out of my way for them. I have even replaced cheaper KO's with better quality KO's since the combined price is cheaper than an original. Also the "Engrish" on the boxes are funny! I love to read this stuff.

Anyway, that's my two cents!

ive got devastator (good) defensor (very good) and Superion (plastic crap). no luck finding mensor or abominus except on ebay for huge shipping charges (like 20 shipping for a 7 buck bid)
