Has anyone noticed how in the Blitzwing photogallery this fellow hasn't been transformed properly? The purple rudders are never flipped out when they should be. :???:

Wow. I think you just taught me something new about Blitzwing. I don't think I've ever noticed those rear wings before. I can't believe I've had this figure for about 12 years and never, ever noticed. I just pulled out my Blitzwing figure because I had no idea what you were talking about. Lo and behold, he's got two rear tailfins that fold out that I didn't know about. This is good stuff.

Thanks for pointing this out, Leonardo. Now I have an excuse to buy the Blitzwing reissue when I buy Overcharge so that I can redo the Blitzwing gallery.

Does he stand up without them flipped out in robot mode?

Nice find Leonardo. Reminds me how much I love my Blitzwing(s). :P

Which ones? He stands up with the purple plastic ones flipped out, obviously, but I doubt very much he'll stand without the silver die-cast ones flipped out. I haven't tried, though.

Never looked at the Blitzwing gallery. I know about the tailfins though, they make his fighter mode MUCH more appealing than without. That's why I've always said (and many disagree) that Blitzwing is the best G1 Triple changer. Because though his bot mode isn't great, it's on par with the rest of them but he truly outshines the others in alt modes.

Oh well-happens to us all, its a great threat when u can findout something new.

Alt Swindle had loads of surprizes for me-it was ages before i discovered his opening tire and even longer till i noticed how his ankles flip out (i never use instructions!)

Surprize is the spice of life!

Man, I have had Blizwing for about 20 years now, and I never noticed. Lol, I feel like a dumbass.

Looks so much nicer now!

I posted it in another thread but has anyone noticed how much the jet mode of Blitzwing looks a lot like the new movie Starscream in it's jet mode? Blitzwing at least has an excuse that he has a tank underneath him while Starscream is just trying to hid all that junk up underneath the jet wings until he transforms into mutant moth man.
