That looks crappy,even a not too experienced scratchbuilder can build that frenzy disc thingy,i admit:the earphone is harder to make but still,the tf itself is just... not 21st century.

Would any of you guys bash/repaint it? i think i'd bash it to a galvatron or something. it seems fitting.

I wouldn't... I can't really see what the cannon looks like, but the head looks like it's been stretched.
And I wouldn't kitbash it into anything else, either. I'm quite impressed with the engineering that's gone into it, but when it comes down to it, it's just not appropriate at all; there's no character that would suit a shoe alt-mode. It's ridiculous.

Oh,i thought this site had a few collectors around here as well,i'm a completist so i'd just buy it simply because it's transformers related.
It could be possible to buy different shoeformers and kitbash it into a gestalt,although i don't see what gestalt would wear nikes.

Oh, there are collectors, and people will buy it. Years ago I might have been one of them. Nowadays I'm a bit more discerning, though.

Thing is, the main appeal of Transformers lies in their playability. They're robots (and we like playing with robots), and they transform into other things we like playing with. Toy cars, toy guns, even the true-to-scale everyday objects like cassette players and such are playable since you (or your kids, if you're too 'grown-up') can 'use' them yourself.

But what are you going to do with a half-scale trainer? The only people that will buy this are those that want to display it. That ain't me.
