no, but i took my chances on action-HQ for the first time.
For what its worth, i feel the same way you do.
Although, this topic brings up somethiing i was considering today. BBTS is going to be modifieing there shipments of mp-05...ok, correct me if im wrong but bbts is based out of the U.S. which means that there shipments are going to be held under the same scrutiny that ours are. Will there shipments be modified overseas and then shipped to them, because i was under the impression that this would occur at there stateside location...ramble over...

I doubt it will be the same scrutiny.
Robotkingdom shipped theres and the box does not read robotkingdom anywhere. It has some guys name on it as sender and is marked "gift."
BBTS' shipment will probably be something like 1000 units directly from Takara. Different level of scrutiny here, imo.

even so, if i was a customs officer, i would be more skeptical about the intent of a 1000 unit shipment than of a single piece. Again, this is assuming that BBTS doesnt modify them prior to being shipped to the states. Also, i dont want this to misconstrued as me saying that they will not get there shipment, quite the contrary ...it's just a thought that came to me earlier.

Agreed. Then again, that is why I chose to go with Robotkingdom instead. Just to avoid any hassles. I got the shipment insured, so if anything goes wrong I had a chance to get my $ back.
Also, from my understanding, even if customs does cease a shipment, it is not necesarily lost. You get a letter in the mail and a chance to appear in court to explain and reclaim it.
So I figured, if I had issues, I would just go to court and argue that it is for display only, not to be transformed etc.

I believe BBTS mentioned that they were going to have them modified in Japan or China before they shipped.

Bonger is your Megs diecast and plastic?

Except for the feet and pegs, screws etc, all plastic. I believe, all of them should be like that. With his skinny legs,I don't think Megs could have supported a diecast torso.

The internal frame, which shoulders the arms, head, and back, is also die-cast

Has anyone had any issues with MP-05 using EMS shipping from robotkingdom.com? What kind of shape did the package show up in? I'm a 99.9% MISB collector.
I'm seriously considering placing an order with them.
Thanks

I was thinking of ordering the Soundwave reissue and Titanium Magnus (G1) from Robot Kingdom. How much would shipping for that order be? Can I use something other than a credit card to order from there? I'd rather not use my relative's credit cards, something like a money order would be convienient for sure.

Welcome to the site! Seibertron contains little crunchy bits that get stuck in one's back teeth. Approach with caution. Have fun.

the packaging at robotkingdom has never disappointed me. even my mp magnus where the box was supposedly less than mint looks flawless to me.
corona, you can use paypal if you do not want to use a credit card. At the moment i believe those are the only methods they accept but i could be mistaken. As far as shipping cost, if you go through the checkout process you can find out the exact amt and then not finalise it if you are not satisfied with the total. However, i would estimate it to be in the $25-35 range.

Anyone here get their's from Hong Kong, I got mine from Robot Kingdom, use air mail, and get it yet? USPS tracking is useless and it's been a week with no sign of him yet. It's making me crazy. I want him now. This is why I hate using USPS, they're completely useless.

Am I the only one who ordered from CapturePrey.com? Damd it, first time using their service, and I wonder if I can trust them as well. I feel so defeated with the horrid orange glued on cap from BBTS. I wish I never ordered this one from BBTS.
