Teal is tasteless

You name it. Cliffjumper, Incinerator, Camshaft, Landmine, Camaro Concept Bumblebee, Barricade, Jazz, Leader and Deluxe Brawl, Jungle Bonecrusher, Offroad Ironhide, First Strike Optimus Prime, Stockade and Evac have all been tainted by the "Terrible Teal" explosion of the Allspark line-up. Lucky you, Overcast.. you're the only non-exclusive of the Allspark line-up to not have some Teal-Crap on your figure. Oh wait.. nevermind, you aren't.. cause every single figure has TEAL ON IT!!!!!!!!!! #-o (Fortunately for those Wal-Mart Exclusives.. they're teal free)

Now I actually like the colour of teal, but not on every single figure of the post-movie line-up. Even the great figure of Camaro Concept Bumblebee has been tainted by Target with teal, and its persistent repaint buddy Cliffjumper started off with teal. Original figures like Stockade and Landmine also came with teal :(

It's not noticeable on most of the figures' alternate mode, but it's so eye-popping in robot mode. Its just frustrating seeing good figures from the movie line and new figures of the movie line being tainted with this horrible idea of All-spark Power being TEAL! Well atleast for people who showcase Transformers, the can easily tell where they put their Movie Allspark Figures.

Your thoughts?

I agree.

The brightness of it is quite an eyesore.

LOL!! Classic ...

Hey, it's stupid ... but it'll make them money nonetheless. I wish I could think up stupid ways to make myself money.

:-( I like G2. So much to the point that I'm hunting some G2 figures right now. My favorite was Bruticus. He went from dull, to hippie tie-dye. Looks awesome.

Or Ramjet with a speaker box, or Optmius's new black trailer. Oh, and hey... Who here likes G2 tank Megatron?

Luckily the teal is pretty much incorporated in the colour schemes of Stockade, Landmine and Incinerator. It clashes really badly with many of the repaints though.

Guess that makes next year a lot cheaper. I'm only getting new and heavily retooled molds (Evac, Stealth BB)
