Blackout solutions?

Despite all the negativity with the toy, I got one. The transformation and bot mode sucks. The alt. mode is great, but I am just wondering how do I get the black markings off that was caused by the black propellers? It looks like weathering and I tried a wet cloth but nada. It's seems like paint since it's not only on top but on the little platforms too. It's no biggie but it looks odd since the cabin side has none of it. Also, the back cage for scorpy slips out of the socket easily so I was wondering what's a good way to reinforce it. Only asking since...I am keeping him in alt. mode.

I think the paint slop was intentional to give it a "weathering" effect.
Anyway, i have heard that a bit of windex and some elbow grease will work safely. You could try rubbing alcohol or goo gone, but I'm pretty sure that stuff will rub some of the sheen off the plastic.

Is there suppose to be a pin in the hinge on the cargo/cage part that connects to the propellers? I saw some holes but no pins.

There's no pin. The cage hinge has a tiny "peg" on each side, which acts as the pin of the hinge. If this falls off, then it's QC problem.
At the center of the hinge is a bigger pin/socket like thingy, which spins when the rotor spins. This is used for connecting to the Deluxe Scorponok toy. Scorponok plugs into the underside of the chopper. When the rotor spins, this spinning action is carried on by the pin/socket into the arms of Scorponok, making them spin too.

I thought there was suppose to the be a pin there, since there are drilled holes. I see the little pegs but they are barely long.
I was thinking about drilling a hole and attach a needle to the ramp/cage to keep it from falling off, but I don't think there's a small enough drill.

The tiny pegs should hold tightly to the holes. Mine has the fit very close. I can't even pull the cage off.
What you can do it try to apply pressure to bend the cage plastic slightly inwards. Or bend the holes outwards. But exercise caution. Not too much force. Or the plastic will break.
There is in fact, a small enough drill. Those hand-held devices, which looks like a fat giant pen. I'm not sure if they call that "dremell".

I don't have a problem with the cage but I do have problems with the sides of the helicopter. It doesn't seem to snap into place in its alt mode?

It should go in. If the pegs are in the correct position. Maybe you didn't pull the front straight out. The black folding thing under the rotor, should stretch out horizontal.

I don't know what's wrong. The left side is allright but the right side doesn't want to snap into place.

Is it positioned at the correct angle? I mean, not leaning forward or backward.

It won't bend. There's a small wall-beam that prevent bends. I can bend the holes outwards since the space between is really small and the cage has to be in place; otherwise it defeats the purpose.
I'll check on the drill. I was hoping it would be my last solution. I am not much of a handyperson or a kitbasher.
Also, has there been any attack helicopter transformers? Mainly, anyone model after or closely to the Apache/Longbow.

It's an attack helicopter. It seems like a Super Cobra than an Apache. Bad colors to boot and the bad alt. doesn't do the original any justice. Thanks though.
These 'copters seems interesting for alt. modes that I want to see:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OH-58_Kiowahttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AH-64_Apache http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MH-6_Little_Bird http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mil_Mi-24http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAH-66_Comanchehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UH-60_Black_Hawk > Not blackout; although if it was, it would better suit the toy (pave is so small as a toy).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pave_low > Blackout; Big and bulky compared to the UH-60
I was just wondering if they did any or not.
They made a Humvee and Tomcat (that's Jetfire right?) transformer right? Please tell me they did a good job on it. We need more military alt. modes; good ones at least (not calling them all bad, but there are some out there that just sucks).
