with fingers crossed, I await confirmation.

As The Twilight Zone Marathon just ended, this gives me joy.

I hope Cosmos finaly gets some much needed love.

PS, nice find

Wasn't that shown at Botcon or something? I don't know, but it was shown as an example of a design that was in the works, but they ended up not using. Unless they change their mind about it, it's not going into production.

This is actually old, it was planned for first classics but they cancelled the release way back.
Still a nice figure though, wish they would have released it.

This was shown at BOTCON but will never be released according to Hasbro. Marketing was not keen on the giant frisbee.

Never say never hasbro may release it under the new universe/classics 2.0 banner. It was an old titanium protype and that is why hasbro said it would never be produced. But now hasbro is considering using the unused titanium designs for the new universe/classics 2.0.

If they do release the unused mlds from titnium into Univers, i'd so love the Shockwave mold.

Small Digibash to add color to the gray prototype:

Right, that pic has been floating around the net for a while now.
Would've made a nice figure though.

They can't make C/U 2.0 Cosmos, Arcee (both from Titanium molds...or otherwise) or Movie Voyager Class Bonecrusher, but they can repaint and remold figures that are years old.

Yeah. There's a smart move. Good job Hasbro! Pat yourself on the back, you've done a bang up job!
...of making us no longer want to give you our money, because it's getting to that point.

And don´t forget about the Titanium Shockwave mold that was also shown at BotCon. I´d like to see that in Classic 2.0, too.

I don't understand why everyone thinks that because Hasbro made prototypes for these titanium molds that they will automatically release them in the classics line.

They are a different scale and were designed with different materials in mind. I'm not a toy engineer, but I would assume that there would have to be some significant tweaks to the molds, to make these into classics.

Careful. Too much love for Cosmos, and we'll create a new "Cosmosus Prime" craze.

The prototype looks good. I'm open for his spark to be revived soon.

These images were in the back of the Stormbringer TPB, as well as Astrotrain (not cl, but a cybertronian form) as well as 2 non earth seeker designs.

The only unused Titanium mold I would like to see used for Classics is Cosmos. Maybe because it looks like they used the Classics design drawing as a reference.

They rest look awkward bulky and "Titanium" rather than the wonderful effort they put into their classics line. I mean look at the new Onslaught or the past Classics attempts.

Would be cool to see all of the minibots make it to deluxe size someday.

Everytime I see that Shockwave prototype I get so pissed that we didn't get that. All would be forgiven if they do a Masterpiece Shockwave or release a figure based on that titanium prototype in the upcoming classics 2.0.

Going by the quality of previous titaniums, it would indeed take some significant tweaks to make them into anything worthwhile, let alone bring them up to classics quality.

I'd sooner see them create good designs from scratch like we got with the first line of classics. While transformers are hot, I'd rather not see Hasbro cheaping out on us. Now's the opportunity for them to make all those G1 dreams come true.

If sales go into decline(as they inevitably will), then by all means save a buck and bring out yesterday's rejects. It'd certainly be better than nothing.

There shouldn't be any "scale" problem with the unused Cosmos mold.

As Cosmos is an alien flying saucer, the alien specie it is supposed to carry can be of any size.

Watch "Men in Black" to get an idea. :)

Why does everyone love Cosmos so much? I don't get why he is so interesting. Only figure I can ever recollect of him being made was a mini-bot, like BB and Cliffjumper. I don't get. :(
