Questions about MusicLabel Soundwave.

Howdy.
I just plunked out too much "I'm working now" money on MusicLabel Soundwave (Spark Blue vers.), and while I like how he's classic and functional (not to mention no taller than G1 Megs or Starscream), what I need to know is the most basic function...

How do you get him to play/upload mp3s?
That and I can't slide the mini-SD card out after opening his tape deck (do I need to remove it?).
What do I need to do to send mp3s from a computer into his card so that he will play?

This is my first mp3 player and I hope that he will stand the test of time as both a player and a toy.
Thank you in advance.

You put the songs on the mini SD, insert the mini SD into Soundwave, press Soundwave's play button till the LED turns on. (Play is play and pause, although Soundwave will turn himself off, if he is paused too long.) Too turn Soundwave off, press the play button for several seconds, the LED will wturn off when you let the button go.

Press on the card slightly and it will jump out (quite forcefully, mine was shot across the room). And, yes, you need to remove it, otherwise you can't put songs onto it.

You need some kind of card reader were you put the mini SD into to copy songs from your PC to the card.

Make sure its a 1GB or lower. To put songs into it open up the folder for it and drag and drop MP3s.

Soundwave also takes mini SDs with a higher capacity, 2GB have been successfully tested. Although 1GB.

It really depends greatly on the brand of media you use. If you use some cheap no-name brand media 2 GB card or even 1 GB card you are really rolling the dice. I remember many members complaining that cheap media didn't even work at all or had many problems working correctly.

I bought a 1 GB Sandisc for mine and have had ZERO problems. As far as using 2 GB cards, I don't know if it will work BUT if you plan to try it I wouldn't recommend using anything but very good high quality media.
