Up first we have the leader of the planet and keeper of the Cyber Planet Key Metroplex and his Mini-Con Drill Bit. Then we also have a gallery of the good guy turned Decepticon, Menasor and his Mini-Con Heavy Load. And finally we have Metroplex's second-in-command Quickmix and his Mini-Con Stripmine. Thanks for posting the news story, ACS! I'm off to bed. I hope to have the Hasbro versions of Masterpiece Convoy posted along with some bonus pictures of Megatron for tomorrow night. Lots of work to do this weekend on the site.

Love the Metroplex gallery! I almost forget how awesome he is.
Practically makes me want to buy another one.

I held off on getting Metroplex because so many people said he was terrible. I kinda like him, by the looks of the gallery. This seems to be yet another time a Seibertron gallery has persuaded me to give a TF figure a chance.
I have Menasor and Quickmix, so it looks like I might be adding Metroplex too - unless anyone can give me a few good reasons to avoid this figure.
One thing going for him right now is my local Walmart has a bunch on clearance for around $25.

I wouldn't tell ya not to get it, just because I'm inclined to pass. Matter a fact I'd think about getting it on clearance myself if I didn't mean to finish Classics and buy my nephew a game for his birthday this month. (On top of that I've already ordered my protoforms from hasbro toy shop.)

My birthday is coming at the end of the month, I'm going to buy those 3, primus, and work on completing my classics collection. After seeing how huge Metroplex will be standing next to my Optimus, it made me want it even more.

I really like Metroplex. I wish he had a city mode or that maybe I would more creative to figure out one with what he's got, but the creative design to make his size so imposing is really unique. He might be a little thin but his massive towering size over large figures like Optimus Prime is pretty cool.

I had been delaying doing these guys because I was hoping to get a Metrotitan to go along with G1 Metroplex. I really like to do figures in sets because it's faster to do all of the similar figures at one time than it is to do one figure at a time. On that note, I'm going to try to finish all of the Bruticus and Superion figures this weekend (minus Battle Gaea unfortunately). I'm coming home tomorrow night after working and am going to have a gallery marathon so that I can finish up the 90 or so galleries that I haven't finished yet and so that I can get back to work programming the forums and the upcoming Transtopia.

Metroplex is cool if you use a fan made alt mode. His "official" alt mode totally sucks! Robot mode kicks ass!

Don't you mean robot modes, plural? For me, his having two is a big part of his charm, as is the fact that his smaller "work" mode is normal Leader sized, and then he becomes utterly huge without adding any parts. The sheer size alone is plenty of bang for the buck. I don't dislike the vehicle mode as much as some other people do... My main problem is Sparkdrinker tends to fall off in vehicle mode... AS for his lack of similarity to G1 Metroplex, was that really a problem for, say, BW Inferno?
